Great place to stay - some nice restaurants and pubs We used it to commute down to aintree in Liverpool, train was around 45 mins. Comfy space, easy to find and was perfect for what we needed

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay at The Drift Barn while visiting family in Liverpool. Lovely accommodation - nicely converted barn. Easy to find with great directions from host. Good layout downstairs and everything provided for a comfortable stay. The host even left us fresh bread, milk and butter so we didn’t need to dash to the shops on arrival - local amenities are less than a 5 minute walk away. As there were only to two of us we used the largest bedroom, which was spacious with such a comfortable bed! However, the other bedroom looked lovely too. Since our return we have also recommended it to a friend who is due to visit Liverpool shortly. Thanks again for a lovely stay. Tip: if planning on travelling across the Mersey Gateway toll bridge into Liverpool, do download the Merseyflow app to automatically pay for your crossings.

We absolutely loved staying at Lindsey’s place. Everything was so thoughtfully arranged and so homey. We travelled with our 1 year old daughter and honestly it was a dream. There was a high chair, toys to play with, books to read. An enclosed garden with a swing and a slide (a thrilling favourite). Little details like soft carpet on the stairs and around the patio doors and a back door that could be opened at the top but not the bottom so we could get some air but contain the toddler. Everything was spotlessly clean and everything we needed was provided and easy to find. We would stay again in a heartbeat! Thanks Lindsey!

We really loved this penthouse apartment - it was conveniently located near the shop fronts, beach and train station. The interior and view are absolutely beautiful.

We stayed at Jacquie’s place on Easter weekend it is as described and looks exactly like the photos, Jacquie was very responsive and allowed us a leisurely check out on the Sunday. Lot’s of lovely homely touches, really well equipped kitchen, close to all amenities and walkable to Lord street and its bars and restaurants. Would not hesitate to stay again when we are visiting Southport

Have stayed at Sarah's place a lot of times now. Always very clean and welcoming. Check in easy anytime. Train station to city centre on the door step and lots of shops and takeaways close by. Parking good. And always a welcome pack and milk in the fridge waiting which is a really nice touch as we always arrive early in the morning. Will be staying again for sure.

The apartment was really nice and really easy to find and check into. There’s lots of places to walk out to in the area and it was great to be by the water Hot water, clean towels etc all great. The coffee machine wasn’t all there - the jug was missing and there weren’t pods to use in it - although we did find coffee sachets and tea in the cupboard. That was the only faff with an otherwise great booking

We loved our stay at this property, the decor was modern and clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. we have stayed in many Airbnb’s over the years and this was one of the best. The property was very well located with a 10 minute walk into Southport and 13 minutes into Birkdale which is a lovely village with a great cafe culture. We also spent a day at Ainsdale beach which is just a 10 minute drive. We would definitely come back to this property and highly recommend
