Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Waterford

This was a lovely stay. The home is historic and lovingly restored to be a welcoming home away from home. The thoughtful touches and all the art celebrating the local area highlighted what a great place this is to visit. I loved the style of the place and how it felt to spend time there. Heather is an excellent host. I will stay here again and do highly recommend this home.

This home in Harper's Ferry was everything and more as described in the listing. We had plenty of room. The beds are roomy and comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious. I loved the polished cement floors as well as the eclectic artwork and decorations. We enjoyed mornings on the deck and our walks to visit Harper's Ferry.

Very peaceful, a place to get away and relax. Restful. Grounds are well cared for.

We loved the area. The house was very clean and we felt very comfortable. We enjoyed coming back to the house after the horse show and just relaxing. We hope to book it for next year.

Laurie’s place is just stunning. My friends who joined me were amazed at the beautifully designed rooms and how cozy it felt. They are planning to stay with their families in the future. Laure was so helpful with communication, easy check in and a thorough guide to the home instructions, the history of her historic home and things to do around Purcellville. We loved every second! Could recommend Laurie and her gorgeous home more highly!

I truly cannot say enough amazing words about Jeannie and her cottage. It was the absolute PERFECT home base for my husband and I during our wedding weekend at the Manor 1858. It was only 13 min away from the venue and less than 5 from Middleburg. You truly can’t beat that location. It was so peaceful and charming and we are already talking about coming back in the years to come. Thank you Jeannie!!!

We had a wonderful stay! House was very nice and very clean. The hosts were very thoughtful and had nice of lots touches like homemade brownies and snacks. The hosts were very responsive and came and brought a new tv during our stay since one wasn’t working! Would definitely recommend anyone staying here!

This place feels like home. A kitchen and a laundry room are all we need. The house is very spacious and has a great outdoor environment. This is a comfortable place. Gale responded to all questions promptly.

We had an excellent stay on our journey along the C&O canal. The owners were very responsive and accommodating to our larger group. Everything was pristinely clean and the bathroom/shower was luxurious. Very happy with our stay and big thanks to the homeowners!

Great stay! It was an awesome location and there was lots to do within walking distance. Also appreciated the food that was present for us on arrival. There was a small but very nice backyard where we were able to make a fire one night. Host was very informative and responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Jenna's place was great ~ it's exactly as described. We found it peaceful & relaxing, and we liked the proximity to public transportation.

My family and I spent the weekend in Washington, D.C., and we were fortunate to find Emily's place at the last minute after our previous arrangements fell through. It was a wonderful experience, and the hosts were lovely people! The only challenge we encountered was the noise in the early hours of the day. However, I don't consider this a complaint; it's just something to keep in mind when booking a co-living space. We discussed the possibility of noise with Emily beforehand, so again, it's something to be mindful of. Overall, meeting this interesting and cool family and their dog Charlie was a good experience and an absolute pleasure!

This cabin was exactly like the pictures and as described! We forgot that chickens are mentioned in the listing until we arrived and saw them, they were very cute. Kitchen is pretty stocked with whatever you need to have simple meals but there is no oven/stovetop so definitely plan ahead, but Trent provides some appliances like a toaster oven, waffle maker, and coffee maker. Overall we had a great stay!

I stayed at Smirna's place with my fiance and sister for a few days and it worked well for three adults. The space was comfortable, well equipped, and very well maintained. Check-in was a breeze. The location is an easy drive from the Dulles airport and has good access to the highway into downtown DC as well as the DC metro and a number of nice suburban communities. The spot was perfect for us and I would recommend it to other travelers.

Such a beautiful place, the yard is peaceful and pristine. VERY spacious apartment/ studio! Comfortable bed!. We had a great stay!

This was our second time visiting Mark's cabin and it was wonderful!! The cabin is cozy and there were lots of blankets which was really helpful for the evenings and mornings that were a little chillier than I had planned for. The coloring books, art supplies and games were much appreciated by our children and the goats are always so fun to visit with. Mark responds right away and is very helpful and friendly. We felt at home especially on our return visit. We will definitely be visiting again!

River House – 5 Stars My husband and I stayed in the River House for 4 days. We totally enjoyed ourselves there. It was exactly what we were looking for, peace and quiet while gazing upon nature at its best. The house is very clean, neat and crisp with a touch of warmth everywhere. It has everything you could want for your stay, making it home-sweet-home. The house is nestled between trees and situated right on the bank of the Shenandoah’s running river. Enjoy the lush green forest across the river while drinking your morning coffee in the sunroom. You’ll see that this serene setting brings a daily refuge of birds nesting and hummingbirds feeding to the top deck. The sunroom is so cozy and inviting. It seems as if the house is on stilts sitting over the running river. The River House has two large decks, a patio and boats for your family’s enjoyment. The most charming and comfortable cabin location, beautifully decorated and yet incredibly functional. Grateful for the attention to details.

If you want to be in the middle of busyness and noise this is not the place but if you want total peace and rest, look no further. The drive to the home is up a long country mountain road and the reward is this amazing cabin that sits beautiful on top of the mountain at the end of the road. Unblocked views for miles from the front porch and amazing hot tub. Grab your groceries before arriving cause once you arrive you will not want to leave. Rest, refreshment and rejuvenate are the 3 R’s when it comes to this place. The hosts communicate so effectively before arrival and everything is in great condition so there were not needs to communicate during our stay. However before arrival they were always responsive and helpful. Loved our time here and if you’re looking for the 3 R’s, I’m sure you will love it too!

An incredible stay! Susan was so helpful and kind the area was the perfect place to relax, connect with nature and enjoy a quaint cute town with plenty of local charm. Beautiful Airbnb in an area rich with nature and history.
