Family-friendly vacation rentals in Watchung

The house looked exactly as it did in the pictures. It was perfect for my family. The bedrooms were perfect and clean. The location was great as it was so close to the beach. And finally, the host was lovely and accommodating.

Everything was great. Our family enjoyed being here and my son wanted to stay longer😁

we were 9 people and had a comfortable, relaxing stay at RJ's place. We were looking for a cozy place in quiet area. The jacuzzi and kids games upstairs where great.

This was our second time staying at this home, and just like the first time, everything was perfect. The place is exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. It suits my family, who visit me every year from abroad, perfectly. The location is convenient, the neighborhood is quiet, and the hosts are absolutely lovely—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. We truly feel at home here and will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

Great stay for a group of 12. We had a minor questions during the stay and the communication to the host was quick and easy. Overall one of our best stay.

This felt like you were just at home. Between the amazing host and their hospitality from beginning to end you would think you’re just visiting your aunt and cousins! Everyone was very pleasant and the house was the most beautify thing I’ve ever seen. I would absolutely recommend anyone who wants luxury in Brooklyn to stay here!

This is my 3rd time staying at this beautiful oasis, and I can't wait to go back! We were on a girl's trip and we all felt very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, curling up on the super comfy couch, playing the games at the house, cooking delicious meals, and the nearby Pinball Museum! It was my first time walking home from the boardwalk, and I don't know why I didn't do it sooner! The neighborhood homes are beautiful and spring is springing! Tracy is an amazing host and she made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Can't wait to go back when the weather is warmer to enjoy the beach!

Super clean place with comfortable premium mattress. Location was perfect close to coffee shops and restaurants. We were there for an appearance on a tv show filming at lionsgate studios. Front door of the studio was less than a few hundred feet away!

We had a wonderful stay in this charming older home over Christmas. Parking was easy. It was Ideal for our family of 3. The location was perfect for visiting downtown Princeton, and grocery stores and restaurants were close by. Natalia was immediately responsive to any questions.

Jennifer’s place is one of the nicest Airbnbs that I have stayed at - quiet, clean, comfortable and I love the location near restaurants and the beach. I also appreciated the quick and friendly communications with Jennifer. Looking forward to staying here on future visits!

I wanted it to be my new second home. The apartment is so charming and the location so amazing. We absolutely loved it.

Elayna's place was beautiful, quiet. Her place were exactly as seen in the photos. if I do return to NY/NJ I would definitely stay here again. 5 star aren't enough stars for this place.

The house was absolutely beautiful well cap very clean and organize. I rented this place for Christmas so there was ample items that we found usable to make a beautiful Christmas table presentation. I would highly recommend this place again. Thank you Martha for your hospitality.

My family had another wonderful vacation at Jane’s house. She’s a great host. The house is very clean and had everything you need and more. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is great. The best is the backyard and heated pool. We spent most of our time there outside in the wonderful backyard. It’s close to sesame place, please touch museum and the Franklin institute. If you have young kids, it’s a great location. We plan on going back for sure!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at AVE. My two grandchildren had a great time as well. It’s rare to find a place that exceeds my expectations. Really. I will definitely be returning to AVE. And I will also recommend AVE Clifton to my friends and family.

Delighted we picked Martha’s place for our stay in Queens. The place is exactly as described. Clean, comfy, and in a good location for exploring the city. Would def stay again if visiting NYC.

House is spacious, cozy, clean, has all possible kitchen utensils , lot of games, pool table is great addition, close to the pool area. Host is great and responsible. Pleasure to stay.

Only down fall which is a perk security little rude not the owners fault. How was great Kids loved it only issue I could say which I will book again and communicate better it the driveway. A lot of rain and it froze. So it was bad getting into driveway. Next time I’ll ask about putting salt down. I was hesitant because it’s not my property and some people don’t like that but besides that great communication clean appliances and everyone loved their area

Gayann’s place was great. She was extremely responsive from beginning to end. Everything was clean and comfortable. The landscaping was amazing and the home was beautiful.

Me, my husband, and my 3 kids stayed at Brendan's house for 5 days in August and we had an absolutely fantastic time. Brendan was very responsive via text and provided us with all the information we would need (and answered all our questions) in advance of our arrival. The entire house and backyard/pool area were very clean. Brendan had provided brand new shampoos and body washes for the whole family, and there were also more than enough clean towels. We really didn't need to bring anything other than our clothing and food! There was every type of cooking appliance and spice available, as well as plenty of plastic/paper goods. Finally, the pool was the absolute highlight of the house and the pictures don't do it justice. Very well maintained pool and backyard with lots of pool toys for the kids. There were also two separate eating areas in the backyard. Even with all five of us in the house, we loved playing foosball, swimming, playing xbox, and using the house as our "home base" for our day trips to all the nearby beaches and attractions.
