Vacation rentals with lake access in Washtenaw County

This is our 3rd (or 4th) time renting and it won't be our last! House is always clean and nicely appointed. Last visit was pre-covid so its been too long. House has fresh paint and carpet - looked better than ever. Dan & Liz doing a nice job of keeping the house with a fresh lake vibe. Great place to relax and enjoy the lake!

The house was lovely and had everything we needed for our multigenerational family trip. It was charming and comfortable. Keri was a great host!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Accommodations matched the description and previous reviews. This is clearly a family home and not a hotel, if you expect that level of accommodations you will be happy. The lake view was wonderful and so was the piano. Thanks Steve!

We loved staying at Joannes! The house was very clean and cozy. The house was stocked with everything you may need while away from home and more. I loved that they had chargers! So handy! We were in town for a hiking event and plan to attend every spring and we hope to be able to book with Joanne again. The hot tub was extra nice after we hiked 22 miles at Waterloo. We loved looking out into the River. I've stayed at several Air BNBs and Joannes place was perfect.

The house was very spacious. Updated kitchen with everything you need to cook (which we did almost every meal). The downstairs entertainment area was great!

This was a perfect stay! We were in town for a trail race. It was close to the start line and it was perfect to soak in the hot tub after to relax. We loved being able to bring the dog along and it was convenient to walk across the street for dinner! We couldn’t find a remote for the living room TV and within 15 minutes Rick sent his son over with one! Absolutely would stay again!

The home was such a lovely getaway for our family of 4. Our teens enjoyed the waterfront with the fishing gear and kayaks. My husband loved the close access to trails. I appreciated the comfortable mattresses, quiet nights and incredibly peaceful mornings on a quiet lake. The kitchen had what we needed to make pancakes and crepes and we used the grill to host local friends for dinner. It was the perfect end of summer getaway for us all!

This might be my favorite home that I’ve stayed in using Airbnb! Hanna Hospitality was super communicative, proactive, and kind. The home itself felt extremely clean and like a family home. I spent most of my time out in downtown Clarkston, but pretty much stayed on the deck or in the water when I was there. All of the furniture in this home was clean and comfortable, making it easy to lounge indoors and outdoors. The bed was almost more comfortable than my bed at home. The home is as described, and even cleaner than expected. The only challenge and my reason for the four stars: it was a bit frustrating to get into the front door. Hanna Hospitality provided clear directions for the keypad, but it’s weird that you had to “wake it up.” I hope I get to stay here again each time I visit Clarkson! nice place. this was our 2nd time staying here. The place was clean and user friendly.

This beach studio is exceptionally nice! (& we've airbnb'd along Lake Erie before.) Although it has lots to offer, if I had to choose the best part it would be the views. (and that was really the purpose of this March trip) The large windows offer a panoramic expanse of Lake Erie & the extending pier. (It’s definitely worth getting up early to see the sunrise.) Seeing that view, we just had to get out & walk to the end of the pier, to watch the waves & the sea birds & enjoy the lake breeze. At the same time, the comfortable & convenient (& open) arrangement of the space kept us more than happy to spend hours inside. We fixed meals easily in the kitchen, then enjoyed them at the dining table with those beautiful lake views. The cute holiday themed decorations and thoughtful additions like cupcakes, snacks & coffee only added to the cheerful interior. Me and my girlfriend had a wonderful experience at Dinara’s home. Everything listed was accurate and the town was nice with great restaurants only a few minutes walk away. Fully enjoyed my time and look forward to visiting again.

This place was everything we needed!!! The location was perfect because it was so close to the Waterloo Hunt Club for our horse show. The inside is recently updated and has everything it listed, even a keurig! This home is on the water and give you assess to the dock for fishing, has a fire pit, beautiful patio and a great grill-eating area including a large picnic table. The 1.5 bathrooms was nice when we were all getting ready in the morning. It’s a quiet area so easy ins and outs. Just overall excellent and so comfortable! Will come back for sure when we have our next horse show!

Terry is very helpful, responsive, caring, and proactive. I enjoyed his place a lot and will recommend for any out of town guests. It’s very cozy, clean, and well-decorated. It was a perfect place for me to stay; close to the lake, restaurants, and shopping. Thank you for everything!

The stay went very well. There are multiple options for fishing and places to launch a boat. I would definitely recommend this for a vacation for with all the activities to be had in the area. We encountered friendly people in the area and with shopping and restaurants close by it made our time there a memorable one.

As a family of four with two teenagers, we were blown away with our stay at this charming cottage in Michigan. Not only was the initial correspondence so welcoming and relational, but once we arrived, we found so many intentionally kind touches throughout the house. Our kids couldn’t have been happier with the thoughtful basket of snacks and my wife and I were very impressed with the unnecessary but incredibly thoughtful bottle of wine, along with a kind note. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, and the three season room with sky high windows was an incredible “get away” for my wife and I to have early morning coffee while our kids slept in. Our kids really loved watching movies in front of the fireplace, which also has a couch/pull-out bed. Additionally, the backyard, which was feet away from the lake, was complete with a hot tub, fire pit (perfect for smores) and paddle boats which we really enjoyed taking out on the lake. We had a wonderful time, and absolutely will be back!

Stayed here since my daughter had a dance competition nearby. This is my second time staying here. Adorable cottage and super friendly host. Will book again for sure.

Debra was an absolutely amazing host. She was helpful and responsive as soon as I booked and throughout my stay. The house itself was clean and as described, and I felt right at home here. The lake was beautiful and I’d love to come back when it’s warmer out. I will definitely choose to stay here when I am in the area again!

Thank you so much for your beautiful cottage! Our family loved it. The area is so pretty-breathtaking really. The cottage is beautifully renovated and adorable. We were not able to go boating this trip, but we definitely hope to be back and to go out on the pontoon boat. There's so much more hiking we would love to do, but our family came to town to visit relatives, and celebrate our dad's 90th birthday, so our time here was focused on that. We were so glad that it was a mere 10 minutes to get to Chelsea and the assisted living where he is staying. Thank you also for the thoughtful welcome gifts! This is one of the most well-appointed Airbnbs I have every stayed in, especially for someone who loves to cook! It was also very family friendly, as we had a one year old in tow. It is right on the lake and the view is so peaceful and blue. We came in cold weather so did not experience the water or the busy season, but it was perfect all the same. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was very clean. Everything - furniture, appliances, etc. - were spotless and in good working order. There were spots to store things, so even though there were six of us (including a baby!) it never felt cluttered or messy. Lots of games provided and the attached all season porch was nice for reading or winding down at the end of the day. 11/10 stars!!!

This is a great place to stay, especially with the view of the lake. And very thoughtful hosts who really tried to think of everything you might want at a lake property. Would love to come back when the weather is better!!
