Great little place on the water! Beautiful river front property. Hosts are wonderful and very helpful! We came with our boat to do some fishing and they went over and above to make sure we were accommodated. Way more than most places we have visited! 100% recommend!

Me and my father work travel construction and this was the perfect place after working 13 hour days peaceful clean and enjoyable. Thank y’all again for everything we will be back ❤️

Great place with great host !

I was in town to house-hunt for a move to New Bern. Hosts were very helpful when I had to extend my stay and accidentally locked my keys in the cottage. I would highly recommend this cottage rental to others.

Well appointed property in a quite walkable neighborhood. A short 5 minute drive to downtown New Bern.

We loved our stay at the cottage over an extended Easter weekend. It was very comfortable for the 4 of us (teenage son, my wife and sister-in-law). We went there to get away, enjoy nature and each other and the mission was 100% accomplished! Jennifer's gardens are beautiful and the birds sang to us each morning and evening and all day. We got a tour of their yard and gardens and saw the chickens whose eggs Jennifer shared with us. Also, we loved the art around the cottage. They have some great paintings hanging in there as well as board games and books. I take day trips to the area often to visit some wildlife areas and it was so nice to be close by and easily visit those areas for sunrise and sunset. We all really enjoyed our stay . Kitchen was well-supplied. We were comfy and happy.

Katherine was an amazing host! She was responsive and made us feel right at home. The location was perfect as it was close to downtown. The guesthouse itself was private enough to where it didn’t feel like a guesthouse at all! Such a pleasure to have stayed in this little place.

Tony and Jeanne were wonderful, responsive hosts and their house was perfect! It was beautifully decorated, with comfortable furniture and an amazingly well stocked kitchen! The view from the back porch across the water was so peaceful. Check in was easy and the location was just right. We visited the area to see the swans and snow geese as they gather in their wintering location and were treated to quite a display! Thousands of birds at Lake Mattamuskeet and Pungo Lake! We would love to come again and stay in this house, in warmer weather or cold! Well worth the trip! Thank you Tony and Jeanne!

The family met at Jim’s place to celebrate an early Christmas together. There was room for all of us. The kitchen contained all the necessary essentials. The town of Washington provided excellent choices for a dinner or two. I don’t doubt my choice in choosing Jim’s airbnb!
