This lower level unit of a 1910 historic row home was recently renovated. It is perfect for tourists and business travelers alike and has an elegant, quaint feel with modern amenities. The apartment living space is cozy and comfortable, with gorgeous exposed brick wall, cool lighting, and cozy reading nooks. You will find plenty of storage space in the bedroom closets. We provide linens and pillows and blankets. The fully equipped Gourmet kitchen provides you with everything you need to cook at home. The en-suite washer and dryer will save you a trip to the laundromat, so pack light! The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We created this apartment to be your perfect home away from home. We live immediately in the upper level of this historic Mount pleasant row house, so we are just a phone call, text message, or doorbell ring away should you have any questions or need help with anything. This private apartment has two separate entrances (front and back). We respect our guests privacy but also enjoy interacting with them to provide any needed assistance, suggestions, or tips during their stay. The apartment is located in the charming and central Mount Pleasant district, a leafy neighborhood with a small-town feel, historic architecture, and vibrant culinary offerings. The apartment enjoys good access to public transportation: major bus stops are 1 to 2 blocks away and Columbia Heights metro station is less than a 10 minute walk (Cleveland Park Metro is a short bus ride away). Street parking is available on a first come, first served basis but residential parking permits are required during the week (not weekends) if you plan to park more than 2 hours at a time. We can provide you with a parking pass if you need one. * Pack-n-play and booster seat are available upon request. * Parking permit is available on request (there is a $200 fee if it is not returned).

My daughter/co-host, Bernadette, a young D.C. professional, can also answer any questions about the D.C. area, restaurants and other cool places to go. The apartment is in a quiet suburban neighborhood with easy access to the Washington area. It's a short walk to the FDA. Downtown Silver Spring is nearby, with its many restaurants, bars, Fillmore music venue, Ellsworth Dog Park, and a movie theater. The National Archives, University of Maryland College Park and UMUC are just few miles away. A Ride-On bus stop is located on the same block as the apartment. A Metro bus stop is 5 minute walk. Silver Spring Metro Station is about 4 miles away. There are a few parking garages at the Silver Spring Metro Station if you choose to drive there and then hop on the metro. Free parking on weekends and holidays at all Montgomery County Parking garages (some lots and street parking may require payment on Saturday). You could also Uber/Lyft to the metro station or all the way into the city (great option esp if you're splitting fare).

There is a Whole Foods supermarket two blocks away and many gyms and yoga studios to try right next. We have a 98 (out 100) walk paradise score. My other fav grocery store nearby is Traders Joes. As often as you need. A 5-block walk from the Dupont Circle metro station, the apartment occupies a vibrant neighborhood with a variety of great dining and shopping just steps away. There’s a supermarket two blocks away, as well the cocktail bars that line 14th St NW. There are several Metro stations nearby, the most convenient is Dupont Cicle, red line, also there are shuttles and buses to different locations nearby. There are discounts for monthly rents.

Very clean bedroom and bathroom. Comfortable bed and facing inner garden that is quiet to sleep. You will be sharing the house with other guests; bring ear plugs just in case they talked loudly and woke up early to use bathroom. Quiet and safe surroundings; location was perfect as I was mostly going to a festival in RFK field (20min walk). The bus X2 not far from Keya connects you to Union Station, very convenient. The only drawback I would say is the closest restaurant and supermarket is about 20min walk. Other than that, everything is perfect.

Everything was great! The only think of suggest is to maybe get some of the wireless charging night stand alarms for your guests. Myself and the rest of my party didn’t have our luggage with us when we arrived to the Airbnb and our phones were on 5% and some completely out of battery. That wireless charger would have been great! But over all, great stay and very clean place!

I and my family loved this house. It felt cozy and was beautifully decorated. The neighborhood was clean and quiet. It is located in SE DC but the subdivision where the house it self is located is a neighborhood with similar homes that is safe and quiet. Ephrame was very helpful and accessible for anything that came up. I did have some issues but Ephrame was quiet to amend them. I would definitely rent this Airbnb again.

This place was exactly what my family needed so that we all could be together comfortably to celebrate my youngest daughter’s graduation from Howard University. We live in a rural area, so this was close enough for us to get to the city quickly, but far enough not to be bothered with all of the noise, people and traffic. I didn’t have to reach out to the owners, but their contact information was left for us on the counter in the kitchen where it could be easily found. If my daughter decides to stay in DC, I hope this place is available for us to stay again.

This was a great spot for visiting nearby family over Thanksgiving. There is a Rec Center with tennis courts and a soccer field across the street, and a gorgeous new dog run only a few blocks away. The house was comfortable and clean, and resembled the online photos. It’s clear that the neighborhood is in transition with evidence of new buildings and plans for new condos, with effort and thought behind everything. Use caution when walking around at night (after 10) only because there aren’t many people around at that time.

The apartment was great - even for a family of six with two cats! The kitchen had basically anything you could need, minus a dishwasher. But apart from that, it was an excellent stay. The hosts were very responsive and even washed our linen twice during our stay. Would highly recommend.

This space was perfect for our needs! The secure building gave us peace of mind, and the location was ideal—easily walkable to our business meetings. The 2 bed/2 bath layout was especially appreciated, allowing for a work companion while still maintaining privacy and personal space. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a huge bonus for a longer stay. Clean, comfortable, and convenient—would absolutely stay again!
