Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Washington County

Jonathan and the rest of the crew were lovely. Very friendly and accommodating. They made sure my family was safe during some unexpected, severe inclement weather. although we did not get to experience some of the nearby state parks and other local amenities as planned, the location was stunning.

As a last minute choice to stay here, they were very accommodating. It was peaceful and quiet, I loved this vintage cabin, it had everything we needed!

The Cottage was amazing! We had an amazing time! Kim & Jim were very nice and helpful! The firepit was perfectly cozy and they had wood all ready for us to burn. The fireplace was wonderful and set the perfect tone for our 10 year anniversary! The bedroom was nice and spacious, we LOVED the pillows; and the bed was soft yet firm and we slept heavily every night. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils which made it very easy to feel at home with home cooked meals. You can even watch the sunsets from the deck, they're beautiful! The Cottage location was both secluded and convenient spot near the town(s), gas stations, and the trails we inintended to visit. It felt nice to be far enough away from people while still being near a small town should we need anything. We definitely plan on coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Eversole Home. Our family of 7 spent the week of Thanksgiving there. I reached out to Carol to inquire about the kitchen supplies so I could plan what I might need to bring. Carol went above and beyond and provided us with everything we needed, including a turkey roasting pan, pie pans, casserole dishes and a KitchenAid stand mixer! The home is in the process of restoration and some things are better than others, but it’s all comfortable and homey. The upstairs bedrooms did get warm with the heat so to keep the kids comfortable, we were cold downstairs. Extra blankets and bedding were available so we just threw on another blanket. The town is so cute and friendly too! Our son is studying historic preservation so he loved it. We may have to stay again next year to see the progress on the house!

This was a great stay. We loved that our kids got a unique stay and my husband and I appreciated the quiet and the privacy between neighbors. The grounds were beautiful and there were horses and goats and hiking. We enjoyed the simple things. It was a bit out of the town to locate groceries but we were thankful that as we got in late that it had an easy way of checking in to allow that flexibility. I wish that even not in the thick of summer that it would have had a few more kid friendly things- bike rental or bigger park but we very much enjoyed the unique stay. The house was great, perfect for what we needed. While in town, we had very buys days planned and it was so nice to be able to come back to this comfortable and well kept home. Appreciated! Additionally, it ended up being a very strong-weather weekend, with tornado warnings. The homeowner specially reached out, by phone, to give us the lock code to her basement, in case it was needed. I thought that was very generous. Hopefully, we will be back again next year. We would gladly stay here again.

The owners take pride in their property and it shows! They were extremely responsive to us regarding extra blankets and brought us an extra heater since it was below normal temperatures. Even though it was a rainy weekend, my husband and I enjoyed the beautiful treehouse and majestic views of the lake. We will return.
