Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Washburn County

This is a lovely spot that sleeps a group. We appreciated how well-appointed it is -lots of plates and glassware, ample towels and sharp knives! Lovely spot to watch the lake or walk around. We went into town for antique and art shopping.

I do not give five stars often. to me five stars means perfect, and this was perfect for my wife and I. We have country dogs that need space, we like it quiet, and this gave us that. The trails, the wildlife, and the lake all give the feel that you are at your own private resort. The cabin was Goldy Locks might say, "just right."

Absolutely fantastic cozy cabin! I couldn't have hoped for a better location and space. Brenda has gone above and beyond with decor, furnishings, and overall feel of the place. 10/10 would stay here again!

This cabin was everything we hoped for and more! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how cozy, clean, and well-kept everything was. The cabin offered the comforts we needed. The location was great—Waking up to the peaceful sounds of the forest and sipping coffee on the porch was pure bliss. Whether it was watching the sunset or stargazing at night, the scenery was just magical. What really made our stay even more special were the extra activities offered. Rob provided a scavenger hunt and that itself was so much fun! In addition, the kayaking and even a fire pit for s’mores under the stars, every day was filled with something fun and relaxing to do. It truly felt like a hidden gem, and we’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to escape, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of nature!

Ran into a couple hiccups but overrall it was a FANTASTIC stay! Gorgeous peaceful surroundings. Exactly what we needed away from the cities!

I loved The Perch! I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the consideration of not using scented laundry soap and fabric softeners and other scented things! It was so nice to have everything fresh and clean and not smelling like what somebody else thinks is “nice”. Janie was responsive and when I needed help with anything. The place is so cozy and inviting. I hope I have a reason to stay again some time!

We really enjoyed our stay and loved the cozy space. Very peaceful place to stay. They had everything we needed. We left there wishing we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful home with great amenities which make this a perfect place for a family to stay!!! Steven was quick to respond to us and was friendly! We would love to stay here again. The only draw back is on the long driveway going TO the house- you have to pass by tons of trash bags and dilapidated buildings - we were immediately apprehensive - but once you are at the house - all of that is forgotten when you see the beautiful lake and trees! Wonderful home and well worth the money!!

Cabin is quiet and remote (with the exception of some early-morning shots fire by nearby hunters). Kitchen is well-stocked with cookware, but not with ingredients (no ketchup or mustard in the fridge, for example). Bed was incredibly comfortable, with very soft sheets. We slept great here! My biggest complaints are with the lighting and the water. The lighting is all harsh, overhead downstairs; cabin could really use some reading lamps and more gentle options/bulbs. The water has a horrible smell and leaves behind an iron scent. Forget about drinking it — even my dog wouldn’t go near it. Bring spring water to drink and to brush your teeth. Don’t get me wrong; we throughly enjoyed our stay here, but I think it’s important to share the pros and the cons. It’s a charming, rustic cabin in the middle of nowhere, so if that’s your jam, you’ll be pleased. There’s not much around other than some taverns, but if you drive a half hour south, the town of Spooner is super cute and worth visiting.
