Beachfront vacation rentals in Washburn County

The place was gorgeous. We had a great time, but wish we had more time to spend at the cabin. The cabin was wonderful and truly met our needs. We would consider coming back for a longer period of time

Right away I was super impressed with the communication. All the information was laid out and easy to understand. We loved the cabin and its location. We were comfortable and enjoyed every part of our stay. We played games (indoor/outdoor), enjoyed a couple bonfires, had family dinners in the dining nook, went on walks in the area and spent some time in Spooner (eating and shopping.) It was nice to have a simple coffee maker. The kitchen had plenty of items for cooking. We brought up homemade chili and heated it up in a pot, made eggs every AM and one night we used their grill. Plenty of kitchen items! The property is beautiful. I loved relaxing while my husband went fishing with our children. My husband and dog met the neighbor and said he was really nice. I LOVED the stores in Spooner. The host had information about local establishments; thank you! Towels, extra blankets and bedding were perfect too! Everything was clean and cute decor:) Definitely recommend.

This is a lovely spot that sleeps a group. We appreciated how well-appointed it is -lots of plates and glassware, ample towels and sharp knives! Lovely spot to watch the lake or walk around. We went into town for antique and art shopping.

The house was immaculately clean. A complete inventory of everything from appliances to cooking utensils to toiletries that you will want or need on your vacation. James was in constant contact in case anything was needed or questions to be asked. Great hosts. The house is very beautiful inside and out. A “wow” factor for sure. Location was very easy to find in a nice quiet setting on the lake.

The place was so easy to use and we loved all the little extras. Our kids had a blast with all the toys and games. Thank you for going the extra mile to have heaters set up in the garage so we could wax our skis before the race. So thoughtful! Great communication throughout our stay. Overall, we had a great stay! The home has beautiful views, and we loved the area. There were a lot of thoughtful touches throughout, with our favorite being the Nintendo 64! The house was well-stocked and dog-friendly, which we always appreciate. For the price, it was still worth the stay, but there were a few things we wish we had known before booking. The most noticeable issue was the lingering cigarette smell in the home. Additionally, both bathroom doors couldn’t fully close without using extreme force. Despite these issues, we enjoyed our time here!

We loved staying at Aimee and Thomas's cabin on the lake. It was a perfect spot to be at while attending a wedding in Minong. It's a beautiful place and the hosts were top notch! The view was fantastic and Aimee responded quickly to a few questions that we had. We hope to come back next year! Thank you!

I loved staying at the Sunroom. I was there for two night while I attended a class in Hayward. Janie’s place was out of town, in the woods, in a really beautiful area! The Sunroom itself was very charming and lovely. I’d definitely stay again. Also - I was a solo female traveler and sometimes I get a little anxious in that role but I really truly felt so safe at Janie’s place. I really appreciated that. :) Thanks you!

I went to Janie's cabin house for the thanksgiving break (2024) with my partner. It is a nice getaway place even in the winter. We had a great time. The cabin was clean and well maintained. Janie was very nice and responsive from the beginning (booking till checkout). We had to cut our stay short because the weather got very (very) cold and Janie was nice enough to comp us since we left early. In overall, definitely a great place to stay and have a cozy glamping experience nestled between the woods with a great lake view. We are thinking of returning back coming spring/summer as well!

I loved The Perch! I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the consideration of not using scented laundry soap and fabric softeners and other scented things! It was so nice to have everything fresh and clean and not smelling like what somebody else thinks is “nice”. Janie was responsive and when I needed help with anything. The place is so cozy and inviting. I hope I have a reason to stay again some time!

What a wonderful cabin to get away from everyday life. This hidden gem is right on the lake with incredible sunsets and sunrises. We got to fish right off of our own private dock, Bethany and Cole had a fire pit already for us to use and a basket of all the fixings for s’more. The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed, but being so close to the lake I would recommend you bring your own drinking water. Bethany and Cole answered all of our questions and were so friendly, we stayed for four days only, I just wish we could have stayed for the whole summer.

This is our 2nd year in a row staying here for our family christmas. The space is perfect and open for families with kiddos. We were able to icefish and ice skate on the lake . The stay was perfect. We usually try different locations every year but after last year my family voted we do this one again and that choice did not disappoint. The game room is a hit and there is enough sitting in the kitchen for big family dinners .

This was a fantastic place to getaway from reality and spend time with each other. We had our family of nine adults and two children. The upstairs bedroom with the attached bedroom was perfect for our daughter and our grandkids. All our daughters and partners had the privacy and the bathroom space that was needed. The beds and linens were comfortable for everybody. They were plenty of towels for all of the Lake activities that we did for the weekend plus the, use of the laundry room facilities was great. There were so many inside games and activities to keep everybody busy and engaged so many little details were thought of an incorporated. The dining room seated all of us comfortably and the 2 kitchens were so great to have cooking for everyone. Having a separate kitchen works great for those with food allergies! There were so many great small kitchen appliances to use! And all the pots, pans and dishes! So many great memories made here!

Nice spot right on the lake. Wonderful for our group of seven adults and one toddler!
