Todd's place was awesome ! Great location on the lake. The house was very nice. What stood out to me was how well stocked the kitchen was. Every thing you needed was there. Also, there was lots of extra blankets and pillows to use. The house was very comfortable and charming.

My experience with David was 10/10, he was very easy to communicate with and helped us out with anything we needed throughout the entire stay.

Bethany’s place was great! It was private and secluded. Perfect for a getaway for a weekend with my girlfriend.

Songbird Retreat was the perfect Easter retreat for our family of five. Wonderful fun home in an idyllic setting. Something for everyone. Especially loved the stunning backyard with steps straight to the water, use of kayaks, many places to sit and relax. Richard could not have been more accommodating. Highly recommend!

Property was exactly as described. Kitchen was well stocked. Daniel was very responsive and easy to deal with. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

This was a Christmas gift to our children and grandchildren, 11 total. The new renovations truly made this stay worthwhile. Sarah is a phenomenal host, very help, accommodating and responsive. There was plenty of room and activities in the house to keep us occupied for our stay. Not much to do outside due to time of the year and colder weather. I’m sure warmer weather and water would make for an even more enjoyable stay. The overall location is good, but truly a destination focused on lake activities. Surrounding towns don’t have a lot to offer in the way of dining out or area attractions to visit. This was okay for us, because we were truly focused on family time together, which this house was perfect for. In no way does the lack of availability of restaurants and attractions take away from the wonderful and worthwhile experience of staying here. We are all 100% satisfied with our stay! Comfortable, clean house thoughtfully decorated. Well appointed kitchen. We stayed in September and neighborhood was very quiet. Great for morning walks.

Turkey Run Ranch was a great choice for our Thanksgiving break! It reminded us of a nice cabin in the woods but with a beautiful lake. We had a number of deer visit one night and a possum came up to one of the glass doors to say hello. The place is cozy and comfy and great for unwinding. Bill has stocked the home with everything you need! He was the best host ever! We will come back to the ranch!😁

We really enjoyed having our family gathering here. It’s spacious, comfortable, and pretty well provisioned. The game room was a big hit, as was the hot tub, particularly after several (younger) family members did a “polar plunge” twice. As the father of the crew, I enjoyed a scenic kayak tour of the lake with my wife. The lake views from the property are pretty special too.

Very convenient location to downtown, grocery stores, an amazing park and great restaurants. Peaceful and private which makes it a bonus!

Very nice space for larger family, we enjoyed having a separate hang space for kids in the basement. Also enjoyed using the kayaks and having a place to dock our boat under cover was great. Luckily our boat fit ( barely) to get through the culvert from the marina! House layout is pretty good, kitchen island is a bit awkward, tricky for multiple people to be in. Beds were comfortable and clean. We had a very nice stay.

Laura‘s place was clean and quiet and it was exactly as listed. There was easy access to the basement and plenty of room. The bed was really comfortable and the amenities were in place. She communicated very well and timely to any requests. She went out of her way to make sure that I was comfortable and was available if I needed anything. I would definitely recommend it for an overnight stay in the Wake Forest area.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 4th of July weekend and we had an amazing time! This spot is unique but it was definitely peaceful and super private!

Camelia was excellent in how we were treated. Although there for a one night stay, she was very accommodating so that we would enjoy the whole experience. The place was cozy, and just want I wanted to celebrate my wife's birthday! Thank you Camelia for your immediate attention and resolve. Would definitely book again!

The family and I needed a last minute insta booking in lake Gaston and came across this place, we were very happy we found it and really enjoyed our time. We spent a lot of time on the dock and in the backyard with the kiddos, the dogs loved it as well. Our son (9) was able to catch multiple fish (catch and release) off the dock so that was the highlight of his trip! Inside had plenty of space and all the things needed for a cozy stay! The beds were super comfortable. Just a few technical things we noticed were not working and they responded and sent maintenance to fix! Overall very happy with our stay, we plan on rebooking in the future

We had an incredible time staying at this Airbnb! The host Brian and Audra, were absolutely amazing and made our experience unforgettable. This house itself is a hidden gem offering a spacious layout with plenty of room for everyone never did we feel cramped or in one other’s space. The beautiful natural light throughout the home really makes the space feel bigger. The kitchen was just enough room with ample counterspace for prepping and cooking. We loved every moment and can’t recommend this wonderful home enough. I truly hope to return for another visit in the future thank you, Brian and Audra for sharing your magical place with us.

House was even better than expected. It was beautiful, squeaky clean, tucked away from the lake to feel a bit more private. House had plenty of space for everyone, dock was great, pool was wonderful, nothing but good things to say about the place. Host was very helpful and responsive will all communication.

Our family had the most amazing vacation staying at this beautiful lake house! From the moment we arrived, everything was even better than we imagined. The house was spotless, cozy, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed to feel at home. The views of the lake were absolutely breathtaking — we spent every mornings fishing off the dock and taking our boat out. The kid loved swimming, kayaking, and fishing right off the dock, while the adults appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and relaxing vibe. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, but also lots of cozy spots for family game nights and movie nights. Our hosts were responive when we needed them and very friendly. We made so many wonderful memories here and can’t wait to come back next year. Highly recommend this lake house for anyone looking for a peaceful, fun, and memorable family getaway!
