House vacation rentals in Warren County

We had our Annual Friendsgiving celebration and everyone loved everything. We had a private Chef so the kitchen was perfect

We loved the house and the amenities. The kids loved the pool and the lake. Host was very nice and offered a list of places to eat and things to do during our stay. Would definitely return and recommend.

Very nice space for larger family, we enjoyed having a separate hang space for kids in the basement. Also enjoyed using the kayaks and having a place to dock our boat under cover was great. Luckily our boat fit ( barely) to get through the culvert from the marina! House layout is pretty good, kitchen island is a bit awkward, tricky for multiple people to be in. Beds were comfortable and clean. We had a very nice stay.

My family and I enjoyed this time away to reconnect, visit family nearby and enjoy nature. It was a brief stay but was exactly the type of peace I needed. The sunrise is absolutely beautiful and will remain my memory of peace for along time. I will absolutely come back again (but it would be nice if they allowed dogs).

Lake Gaston is a stunning lake with beautiful water, peaceful scenery, and quiet serenity. Being able to stay at a place like this with all new renovated furniture, appliances and more makes everything feel even more peaceful and perfect. Everything was very clean, kayaks were in a good condition, the games provided were fun, though the foosball/pool table was a bit small and shakey. The kitchen was really nice and everything we needed to cook was there. Laura was a great host and very responsive and kind. Absolutely would recommend, we are definitely thinking about coming back!

We adored our stay here. My daughter is autistic, she gets very stressed with changes when we go on vacation. The smells and “feeling” of a house often dictate how comfortable she can be. She often will refuse to eat when we travel because of the smells. Well she was ravenous at this house. Let me just tell you this house instantly felt like our home. She was relaxed the whole time, our family of 4 and dog had the most fun. Definitely coming back here. We are so grateful

A great get away! This property offers so much fun and relaxation - lake access, hot tub, swing set, sandbox, dock - we only left once all weekend to try out a restaurant nearby. Many memories made here in just a short trip. Our little one even caught her very first fish! Plus, Brian is one of the best hosts we've experienced - highly recommend!

Stayed at The Goose for Labor Day weekend. There were a total of 8 of us. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy ourselves! The house was immaculate with everything you would possibly need! Lots of outdoor items included to use and enjoy! They definitely went above and beyond to provide for their renters! Would definitely recommend The Goose for anyone wanting an incredible place to stay at Lake Gaston!!

The house was perfect for our two families! Felt like a home away from home. All the amenities were so nice, including the fully stocked kitchen. Very comfortable home and wonderful host to coordinate with! We are already trying to find dates for our next trip!

This is the definition of a lake house! So much was made available from board games and Wii to hot tub, s’mores by the fire. Joanne was so responsive and transparent about her time availability. The water was a little cold unfortunately but it made up to the giant catfish we were catching off the dock. We will definitely be back!

The house is incredibly spacious— even more so than the pictures show! It was super clean, well stocked, and was the perfect place for us to ring in the new year! The view of the lake is stunning, and there is plenty of seating outside to enjoy the scenery. Sarah gave us GREAT local recommendations for coffee, restaurants, breweries, and a bakery— and we could not get enough of the local businesses in Lake Gaston! Would absolutely recommend this house to others and would love to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at Donna’s. The vibe has a nice chalet feel but instead of the mountains we are on a lake. It was perfect for the time of year that we went. The sunrise over the lake is beautiful and the jetty was a nice place to just sit in the sunshine. We enjoyed using the fireplace and playing kickball on the large back lawn. We loved that they had bases for use. As for maintenance, there was an issue with the toilet but the host took care of it. We had a great weekend introducing our baby to his cousins. Thanks!

This was the ideal lake house for me and my family for our long weekend at Lake Gaston. The location is great with a lovely dock for lounging and enjoying the lake. house was clean and with amenities as advertised. if anything I would say the pictures fail to do justice regarding the size and overall quantity of the house. communication was clear and check in easy. I would gladly return.

Nice remodeled house in a lovely location on the lake. Limited towels for bathrooms and kitchen. There were no bath mats or swim towels, so bring your own. Bed Linens were in plastic wrap which we appreciated. We made the beds when we arrived. Enough kitchen utensils for basic cooking but not extensive. We had enough of everything for a small family of 4. No wine glasses, though. There was a hole in the outside deck that was a hazard - hope they fix it right away. The hosts were easy to communicate with and to reach.

Our stay was amazing. The yard was great for games and walking and the lakefront was amazing. The house was very nice and had everything we needed. Kitchen was very well stocked and I was amazed to find a food chopper and hand-held mixer. Location was great and close to shopping and dining. We enjoyed some much need R and R with our family and James place was the perfect fit.

What a beautiful, clean comfortable way to spend a week at a lake. The house layout is functional and perfect for our needs. There's a place to dock your boat and some wonderful toys to play with. Kayaks, floats and the best little surprise was a clean life vest and raft for the little one to claim. We've been looking purposely for a lake home to purchase. Staying at Dwight's has given us another option. Perhaps we'll just rent his house a few more times a year.

Awesome spot. Lake and cove views from both the screened porch and dock. Great setup for families. At this writing, there are two kids kayaks and a standup paddleboard, so bring a watercraft if you have other adults and want to explore around the waters. You can literally swim into the lake from the dock in about two minutes. Yes, WiFi is spotty (still managed to have the Olympics playing all day on the TV), but remember you’re on vacation and shouldn’t be on screens anyway.

Loved it here. Gorgeous views from inside the house. Even though it was cold our first day, we still felt like we were on the lake because the view from the huge windows was fabulous. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. For dining we had a small table and also a long farmhouse type table. Very open with plenty of room for people to spread out. Bedrooms were well thought out - each had a mirror, hooks, charging pads, end tables, dressers, etc. Bathrooms were also nice with plenty of towel hooks. The house is close to the water so unlike many of the houses with huge walks down to the water, you can walk down to the boat dock in just minutes. Kayaks were very nice as well as the paddle boat, all of which we used. Top level of dock has beautiful views. Fire pit is super nice - enjoyed the fire while we looked at the water. Host was responsive and very quick to respond as well. Grocery, couple good local restaurants very close. Loved our stay & highly recommend!

Very peaceful, remote and spacious place. Bill had clear rules and checked on us daily. There was something to do for everyone on the property which makes things easier when traveling with kids. The ping pong table, nugget ice machine, and the upstairs game center were especially popular. Thank you for a great stay.

When we arrived there was a note that the previous renters clogged the toilet and they would send a plumber ASAP. Plumber arrived and fixed the next day. The house has all the amenities stated in the listing, the kitchen was fully stocked and clean. There was enough space for the 6 of us plus more if we needed it. We loved the backyard/boat house dock. We spent almost all of our time outside. The lake water was very clean and the sunset views were absolutely incredible!!! The host was extremely responsive and helpful. The house is not as “up to date” and fancy as the homes in the area but for us it was exactly what we needed. We truly enjoyed our stay on the lake and would return again! Thank you Tom for sharing your home with us.
