Gorgeous quiet home on the lake. Host was quick to answer questions and provided great resources and references for home and surrounding area!

We had a great stay! A few friends and I went down for a relaxing birthday weekend. The place was perfect and there was a great amount of space for everyone! The kitchen was fantastic and had everything we needed and more. The bathrooms and bedrooms are so spacious and was perfect for my group of friends.

Cooper’s landing is always amazing stay! This was my third time staying and every single time has been accommodating to our needs in every way: from dinner reservations (and all of our indecisions), to dietary needs (vegetarian), to early morning breakfast needs and so much more. All staff members are easy to communicate with, polite and friendly.

Comfy beds decent pillows. Quite small but cozy. The included breakfast at the restaurant is nice.

I really enjoyed staying at this property. I was here for 4 months for work in town and had no issues. There are a good number of travel trailers on the property but the house is in the back corner so it still had a good sense of privacy. At night there are so many stars, you could sit up all night and still not count them all. There are chickens and roosters that roam the property and give it a wonderful sense of being in the country. The heating and air conditioning works wonderfully, the bed is very comfortable (maybe bring a pillow or two), the kitchen is minimal so maybe bring a grill or a plug in burner for cooking food, otherwise you're about 5-10 minutes from town. Shirley communicated great, if you ever have any issues she's quick to address it. I will definitely be staying here again if I ever come work in town again.

We spent 5 days at Blue Pointe on Lake Gaston, after having to cancel our mountain vacation due to Hurricane Helene. We couldn't have asked for a nicer vacation, and have now decided that we are "lake people". The house was very cozy and welcoming. The layout was perfect for our family - my son, his wife and young children took the bottom floor, my husband and I had the main floor master, and my single adult children slept upstairs. My young grandchildren and dog played safely in the fenced yard, and we appreciated the Poop disposal station. The whole family enjoyed playing on the large property and fishing off the dock, and also the availability of the kayak. The weather in mid-October was absolutely perfect and we were even graced with the Northern Lights and a morning visit from a bald eagle. We had to make up our own beds and there were missing linens, but the host fixed the problem quickly when we reached out.

There was some issue to check-in but Lisa was ready to help. Overall we found a solution so I should say Lisa is good host.

We have stayed at Lake O'the Woods before at Clementine's cabin so this time we opted for Henry's cabin. It did not disappoint! We were looking for something peaceful and away from the city and that's what Henry's offered. The place was cozy and comfortable with an amazing view of the lake and the horse paddock. The kitchen had enough supplies to make our meals and the bathroom was very well stocked. We enjoyed the privacy and the great view of the stars since there's very little light pollution from city lights. We look forward to returning again!

Dorothy is a wonderful hostess, very attentive and accommodating. The rental house is cozy and has everything you need. There is plenty of space and access and parking is easy. Best of both worlds because there are plenty of restaurants and shops just 15 minutes away in Rocky Mount, the location is in a quiet country setting.

The Stowe Away was the perfect gathering place for our Air Force Charleston Crew! We felt right at home, and Dorothy was the most perfect and gracious host. We are looking forward to staying at “The Stowe Away” again in the near future!

Been quite a few spots on Airnb. Catherine and Shawn are truly the best host I have experienced….and not even close. They enjoy sharing their slice of heaven to those who appreciate all it has to offer. Gorgeous property to get out and explore and take it all in .It’s a trip my son and I always look forward to.

We were greeted by Trish as we arrived and I must say I was overwhelmed with this beautiful property as well as how kind and generous our host was. Trish allowed us the luxury of treating the Carriage house as our own home and we loved every minute. I would highly recommend this rental for any occasion.
