We had a lovely stay at the "yellow house"! We had 8 guests total and there was plenty of space in the common areas with nice bedrooms to retreat to. We cooked brunch and dinner in the kitchen which had all of the pots, pans, and tools we needed. The backyard sitting area is perfect. The house is also close to Mercer and nice restaurants with downtown a little bit of a longer walk. We would definitely stay there again with a large group.

We are very thankful to have stayed at Doug's place. We found the place with ease, it was clean and very spacious. The place had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The yard was beautiful and very peaceful. It felt quiet and private! We had our children with us and Doug never complained of the kids being too loud, in fact he said he loved hearing their playful voices. Doug and his wife were very accommodating and always very quick to respond. Thank you for a great stay. Highly recommend it if you are staying in Macon.

I really enjoyed your home. It was very clean and well kept. Although I didn’t get a chance to enjoy the pool I really liked it the pool area. It was in a good location, surrounded by restaurants and less than five minutes away. If ever, I’m back in the area and needs a place to stay. I will definitely be looking your place. My family and I were just stopping in Macon for a night on our way to Florida, and it was a perfect place for us! Just the right amount of space, super clean, bathrooms were pristine, beds were super comfy, and the towels were really soft. We felt perfectly at home and would definitely stay again.

This is a great place for what I needed at the time I came here. I have been here for 5 months. We had a great time meeting his mother (cleaning person) as well as his s children when he had to come over in an emergency when the power went out. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants a great quiet place to stay.

Great place; very close to Air Force base (3 miles), which was reason for visiting family there. Host is accommodating and responsive.

I recently stayed here in Macon for a couple of weeks and I was really lucky to find this AirBNB. It was spacious, pretty, clean, and had every amenity that I could’ve asked for. The kitchen was really nice, the living room was comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean. I also really liked how the gravel driveway was hidden and tucked away. I found myself going to Amerson River Park on the weekends and other little spots around town. The hosts were very quick to respond if I ever needed anything and were great with recommendations and suggestions. I can’t recommend this AirBNB enough to people staying in the Macon area and was very happy with my stay.

We had a nice, relaxing stay. The place was decorated nicely, clean and very comfortable. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. It was fun to watch the birds and goats and feed treats to their sweet kitty. We would definitely stay again.

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The space was immaculately clean, which made it feel so welcoming and comfortable from the moment I walked in. It was also very spacious, with plenty of room to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. I really appreciated how quiet and peaceful the area was. Plus, the location was perfect—close to everything I needed but still tucked away enough to feel like a little retreat. Did we just step into a time machine and go back to the 70's? That's what it felt like staying here! The house, the neighborhood, the decor, and the only thing that made you realize you were still in the current times was the TV. Don't get me wrong, the house and furniture are updated, but with retro stuff. We really enjoyed listening to the records they have there, and a great collection to boot! We didn't realize that the clear glass cups that were in the cupboard were coffee cups, so we messaged the host and they replied almost immediately and delivered some very early the next morning. Everything was perfect, and we would definitely stay here again!
