We had an excellent family winter weekend getaway! We did some ice fishing, snowmobiling and skating/hockey down the road at the local ODR. As a nature enthusiast I wanted a peaceful, relaxing experience. This home delivered all that and more. I walked trails, watched birds ( and bees and butterflies and frogs -even river otters play!) Played games as a family, campfire and ate well. Canoeing on the lake allowed for viewing of a loon. Ian's place has a wonderful water's edge. The home was ideal for our family . Thank you for helping make family memories and it was perfect to celebrate a 75th birthday.

The beds were comfortable, the kitchen and dishware and utensils were very clean, and the living room was inviting.

Bowhey’s is such a special place. All the amenities, clean cabins, staff is always busy working on something to make it even more beautiful. Ian is so great and laid back. Saturday night karaoke should not be missed! We will definitely be back.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Denis' place. It's a beautiful and peaceful place with all the amenities you need. We had lots of fun using the kayak, paddleboat and canoe to explore the area by water. Book Denis' place with confidence.

Great private cottage tucked away behind a small island and surrounded by forest. My wife and I enjoyed our honeymoon here with our pup and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing northern getaway.

My first time experiencing cottage life. Ian and his family are good hosts. My children loved Ian. This resort felt very safe. The people that were there were very kind and friendly. it was not overwhelming, it was just right. You do have to bring your own pillows and linen. My suggestion, bring a fan. keep you cool at night. There is hot water. Karaoke night was a lot of fun. no judgement. Ian has a big variety of music. If you are coming from the GTA, you are looking at about 5 to 6 hours of travel time depending on traffic. We didn't get to do the trails because our kids wanted to swim in the pool all day. However, there are trails around the area. Canoeing was a lot of fun and the paddle boards were a challenge but a lot of fun too. There is fire wood present for you to use if you want to make a bonfire. There is a convenience store down the street. They sell essential groceries, beer, liquor, first aid and hot food. Some of his cabins have a really good view of the lake.

We didn’t want to leave! It was so peaceful by the lake. The view from the big kitchen window was incredible. We used their kayaks quite a few times and immensely enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful views from the lake. The house was absolutely cozy and so clean! On a rainy day, we opened up the back garage door that was all set up to sit and enjoy the breeze and the views while sheltered from the rain! What a great surprise! We would definitely consider going back!

Jess and Mike’s place on Bear Island is the perfect place for a family get-away! We had a lovely week by the water and spent our days canoeing, paddle boarding, doing yoga on the dock, and hiking the nearby old growth forest trails in Temagami! On the rainy days we curled up and watched a movie in comfort. The cottage was clean and cozy and it was a bonus to have clean sheets, towels and a full cupboard in case we forgot anything! Great week spent at the Casaluce cottage. The weather stole a couple days of fishing but other than that, it was a great time. Thank you!

Very scenic and private. Cottage is beautiful and the deck off the mater bedroom as an incredible view. Loved the outside deck areas and enjoyed sitting watching the scenic surroundings. If your looking for a quiet scenic getaway, I would highly recommend.
