The city center is about 2.5 km away – ideal for those who appreciate the proximity to nature but still want to be quickly in the heart of Bayreuth. The main train station is also easily accessible (1.8 km).

The newly built, barrier-free vacation home "Dabbe-Werkstatt" [Dabbe, Franconian for slippers, house shoes] stands on the historic foundation of an old slipper factory, once the heart of the local economy. Today we invite you to experience unforgettable moments in the vacation home "Dabbe-Werkstatt." With 80 square meters of living space, our house sleeps 4 people and is ideal for families, couples or small groups who want to discover the beauty of the Franconian Forest.

Relax in our quiet accommodation in a unique location. Enjoy your morning coffee away from the noise of the city while looking out at our game reserve from the terrace. Right outside the front door, you can start on the kilometers of cycling and hiking trails of the Fichtel Mountains. The spa town of Bad Berneck with its beautiful spa park as well as restaurants and cafes can be reached within minutes. Free parking, even for large vehicles, is right by the house.

Our spacious vacation home is located in a quiet residential area with wonderful views of the countryside. 🧖🏽‍♀️For your very personal wellness break, a whirlpool and sauna are available (each €50/day, use until 10:00 pm according to legal rest periods). 🔥Fancy a cozy BBQ? Cozy 2-room apartment near the city center. Supermarket, small kiosk, ice cream shop and hospital around the corner. Public transport is a 5-10 minute walk away. Plauen city center is a 10-15 minute walk away. We offer a fully furnished apartment that is perfect for short trips or long stays. Families are also always welcome with us. On request, there is also a baby travel bed. We are also happy to welcome international guests.
