Vacation rentals in Waldo

As traveling tournament bass fishing anglers, we are always looking for clean, comfortable and well appointed accommodations that will also easily allow us to park four to six trucks with boat trailers. Wendy’s “barndominium” fit the bill perfectly! The heated and cooled living quarters were comfortable, clean and fully accommodated our needs. In the large garage potion of the house, the pool table, foosball table and corn hole set kept us busy in the evenings. There is even a nice TV lounge area in the garage! The pool and pool area are also very nice. And of course, there was plenty of parking. If we ever travel back to Texarkana, this AirBnB would be at the top of our list and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling with four or more people. Robert J.

I've been wanting to visit Caddo Lake for some time now. I really just wanted to be among the moss covered cypress trees. Angela's house is perfect for this. I can't imagine a better back yard than this. We had the pond all to oursleves or at least it felt that way. We visited the state park and the main attraction there is the Saw Mill Pond. It is beautiful but I think the Paradise Pine pond, which is where this house is located, is better. The house is close to all the attractions. I recommend going over to the Johnson Ranch Marina for a boat tour, where you can see the actual Caddo lake and get some history of the area. Anyway, Angela's propery was a nice place to decompress and spend time with our family. The only thing I might have wished I would have brought with me was a kayak or paddle board. The back yard is perfect for it, at least in the cold while all the gaters were sleeping :)

Jeff’s Treehouse was above what we thought when we booked it. The treehouse was very clean and had everything you could need there. Amazing scenery out of the large windows and of the back porch. Tons of spots to fish off the deck. Spent most of the time on the kayaks and canoe. Jeff also took us out on a ride in his boat around the lake with amazing views. Definitely will visit again

We were visiting family and for the Red Bud festival and this was the perfect location. It's walkable to downtown and it was quiet. The home was lovely as well and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

This has been the most thoroughly enjoyable rental we have ever stayed in! If you have no reason whatsoever to go to Haynesville, go anyway! Book this house and soak up all the wholesome farmhouse charm your soul needs! It has big windows to take in all the wholesome heartwarming scenery, and stunning second floor views. The dogs are the most well-mannered greeters. They don't bark when you pull up, they greet you with wagging tails and will happily accept head scratches if offered but they don't impose. Every inch of this property is so therapeutic and good for the soul! Mr. Glenn, our host, was extremely attentive, welcoming and hospitable! Just the best experience! During the past 20 years I’ve stayed in multiple locations on Caddo Lake and Top Water hosted by Susie is amazing! I would recommend staying at Top Water hosted by Susie to everyone!
