House vacation rentals in Wald

The Kostnerhof is a very nicely renovated farmhouse. We used the outdoor oven, sauna, swimming pond and bathing barrel extensively. The rooms and kitchen are beautifully furnished. The view is fabulous. The hosts are very friendly and uncomplicated. We had a wonderful, relaxing week.

We felt very comfortable! The amenities and cleanliness of the apartment were really great. The only small drawback was that the bed creaked with every little movement. We will be happy to come back! 😊

Reiko is incredibly service minded and has a great home for 4 people. Nothing was missing, and Reiko was quick to respond if we asked anything. The only thing we missed was air conditioning in one of the rooms when it got incredibly hot. We would definitely recommend his place to others.

From the minute we arrive, Christian was there to greed us. Any question was answer within 10 minutes. Place was Beautiful ( Country side) We could not ask for more. It was perfect. We will be making plans again for this year. Thank you Christian for your hospitality.

Place was great for our party of 6. Hans was very communicative with us when we had any questions. We would definitely pick Han’s place again when going to Germany.

We were there as a family with two children and a dog, the host was very friendly, everything was clean and the restaurant next door was also delicious. In the area there were many opportunities to walk and a special recommendation is the wild garden near Furth in the forest.

Just WOW 🤩 I see a lot of houses or apartments but that was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen so far. The mix of rustic and modern is simply great! Gerlinde is a super hostess with a great place to stay. We'd love to come back!

With two families (4 adults, 5 children), we spent a few wonderful days both in Oldřich's house and in the very natural, quiet surroundings - just as we had imagined. Oldřich is an excellent host who is always available and immediately provides helpful feedback in case of ambiguities/questions. The house is very cozy. It has a very well-equipped kitchen, lots of games (board games, cards, darts), an oven in each room (wooden logs are available in large quantities), a huge garden with direct access to a wooded area (great for the kids), a campfire area and many other amenities. Even a guitar was available in the house (a highlight for me as a musician :)). All in all, we enjoyed the time at Oldřich very much and we will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay. The place was clean, cozy, and perfectly appointed. The café next door is a particular highlight – Carmen even opens for Airbnb guests outside regular hours. At check-in there was a short delay, which she sweetened for us with two free ice cream cups. The next morning she gave us cappuccino and cake with the words: “You have already paid enough for the accommodation.“ This warmth runs through the entire stay. The lovingly designed guest book contains all the important information – from doctors to leisure tips. The rabbits on the farm are a nice touch. We were particularly impressed that Carmen actively asked for feedback on departure to further improve her service. This attitude absolutely speaks to the fact that she is a passionate hostess and wants to make sure everyone has a great time. Insider tip: Email Carmen before booking ;)

This was a great holiday home. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Quite a historic building, situated in a village setting, the house had a few quirks but these just added to the character. Because of unseasonal weather we needed to light a fire to warm up during part of our stay - ample firewood was provided, and the fire was very easy to manage and kept the place nice and warm. The surroundings are pleasant and the nearby town of Geiselhöring has good facilities including a choice of supermarkets and a petrol station. Straubing, a little further away, is a nice place to visit and you can go and watch the Straubing Tigers ice hockey team! Trains from Geiselhöring station can get you to Munich, Nuremberg and even Salzburg without driving for a reasonable cost if you get a Bayern-Ticket. The host was very friendly and considerate, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

Perfect as always, cordiality and beauty surrounded by nature

We had a great family stay at Kate and Daryl's cottage. Velvet grandparents and small children. The house is very cozy, super equipped, immaculately clean and well located. The children were very happy about the numerous toys and construction things. Private parking was outside the door, the ski rental around the corner and the Great Arber only 10 minutes drive away. It was a beautiful relaxing ski holiday. The communication was always wonderful and very friendly!

The accommodation was clean. The kitchen was superbly furnished and the landlords were very friendly. We were able to look at the farm at all times and got a tour. We were very please with our stay and would go back.

We booked Lucie's place on the occasion of my wife's 30th birthday - and it was just perfect! Already upon arrival, we immediately felt comfortable: lovingly furnished, sparkling clean and with many small details that make the stay special. Lucie is a wonderful host - warm, attentive and reliable. You can tell how much passion there is in the space. The surroundings are fantastically quiet and invite you to switch off - exactly what we were looking for. Communication with Walter and Martina was great, there was a lot of information, they were always available and very friendly. We recommend the place: the kitchen is super equipped, the bed was very comfortable, the sleeping gallery for the kids the hit. For very small children you have to be careful, because of the stairs to the sleeping gallery, unsecured sockets and decor/glass cabinets. We did not use the garden/games/TV, so we can't say anything about it. Everything was clean and tidy. We had a great, unfortunately far too short stay.

The space is really very special. Communication with the host was great. We just had some trouble getting there, as the listing address doesn't match the one in Airbnb. We then found out via Google maps. Otherwise, everything was really great!

We had a very nice weekend at Milan's house. The house offers a lot of space and especially the common area is a highlight. It is very nicely located and you can also be a little louder as a large group. I would book the house again immediately.

The house was quaint and in an idyllic location. Walks along the river with the swans swimming by was wonderful and the hike to the castle ruins was quick and easy and allowed for a beautiful view of the city and surrounding area. The cobblestone streets and one lane roads are reminiscent of a time gone by, and just add to the loveliness of the town. The home was as advertised, a home from the 1200's. The sign on the Brunntor just outside the house says 1250. It has been remodeled nicely but is severely in need of a through cleaning. The spider webs were abundant and just covered many of the art pieces. he house was well equipped with all you need to cook meals, and had ample space. The washing machine and dryer were convenient. Overall, our stay was pleasant and the view from the upstairs windows was divine. It is a bit chilly in the house this time of year as it is a bit drafty, so make sure to buy some wood from a local Toom store and use the woodstove.

We've been there for the weekend Everything as described, a cozy house in a beautiful secluded location. It makes you feel right at home. The owners are very nice and available at any time if questions arise. A large kitchen-living room invites you to be together comfortably. The bedrooms are all large, mattresses are great, we slept wonderfully. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need, we didn't miss anything. Plenty of toys for children, also games for adults are sufficiently available. A clear recommendation from us!

Thanks to Sophie for a great start with Airbnb. The place is really tip top, a huge garden and a total of even 4 bedrooms. The highlight is the hot tub. From the accommodation, you can get everywhere in the Bavarian Forest very quickly. A real insider tip. We'll be back for sure
