great little place that was perfect for me and my partner. very clean, and great shower pressure! was nice and cozy with nice sitting and TV. I would definitely stay again and recommend to someone!

Carlees’s place was absolutely fantastic. She knew we were traveling with our 8yo daughter and invited her to feed the sheep with them. It was a fantastic experience. Her home was warm and inviting, and everything from the fresh bread and honey to the amazing views was perfect. They even recommended a local Indian takeaway that was very good. I would definitely stay here again when we return to NZ.

What a fantastic place to stay, especially if you are riding the Clutha Gold Trail. It's right on the route. Beautiful, comfortable, quiet, clean and spacious. Bridget went out of her way to help us. Organizing a pre cooked dinner, as we were biking with little place to carry this from Lawrence. I would definitively recommend a stay here.

We loved our stay at the Pickled Pigeon Cottage. The cottage was more a house, so much room and a beautiful kitchen, garden and sun deck to enjoy. Neen and Penny were great hosts, easy to communicate with and the house was spotless and had everything we needed for a great stay. We especially loved the fireplace and that it was ready to go for us. Thank you for having us.
