The guest suite is the entire lower level of my home, 2 bedrooms, kitchenette area to make light meals . The only bathroom is accessed through the master bedroom, therefore guests in other rooms will need to share. Comfy beds, large living area with view out to a beautiful private garden, with off street parking. 1 km toTe Puia thermal park and Waipa mountain bike park. 7 minutes to town center. 2 kms to New World supermarket. Base price is for up to 4 people, extra person fee $30 per night.

Quiet rural setting overlooking the Mahurangi River ,Te Kapa inlet and farmland .Lots of native bush and wild bird life . Matakana area has wineries ,restaurants ,art galleries ,beaches ,regional parks and a farmers market . As it is West facing we are often treated to spectacular sunsets. The apartment is spacious with a sitting room and is separated from the main house by a double garage . Suitable for wheelchair users . We are down a 2 km gravel road but the views are worth the drive.

It is a very spacious unit, with a big garden at the back and nobody will be there while you stay. The master bedroom has the double pillow top mattress ( which is medium hard and thick mattress)—- some guests like it very much, 5-10 % guests found it a bit soft. The other queen bed is normal medium hard.

We were a family of 6 adults travelling from the UK on holiday. We initially booked Maria's place and cancelled as the listing mentioned we would hear the odd Moo's, etc which didn't bode well with 1 of the family member as they are scared of animals in general. But when Maria assured us they were all within their fencing they agreed. Maria was very good at showing us around the 7 bedroom house. It was huge and we enjoyed the comfy beds and the 'Jack and Jill' bathrooms. Maria also took us on a walk to see the glowworm in her farm which was an incredible experience. Maria's partner Shane was always at hand to come and resolve any issue we had, e.g lights turned off for a minute or 2 on day 1 of our stay and Shane was there to resolve it. Would definitely recommend Maria's place for a peaceful and quiet stay

We loved our stay at Gay’s pool suite. The decorations were so charming, the gardens lush, the pool so fun right outside. And Gay made a bunch of garden games available to our kids which was awesome. Everything we needed was there. It was a lovely stay.

It was a hassle free stay at Jan's place. We arrived late night and was welcomed with mini pancakes with butter and jam. Our pantry was filled with basics - butter, hazelnut spread, jam. Fruits were on the counter. A booklet of info for wifi, bus, and activities were also there. Bed was comfortable complete with warmers and blankets. The place was clean and comfortable with a usable kitchen and laundry area. Jan also has a beautiful garden to hang out during the afternoons. Jan is a awesome host! We picked a perfect spot and definitely recommend this home.

Skye's place was a gem of a long-term stay. I was finishing up a work programme while staying with her, and it was incredibly convenient to be so close to the city center while also in a gorgeously quiet little grove. Skye was incredibly helpful and welcoming, and even suggested some local events going on during my stay. Would highly recommend for anyone needing a room for a few days (or longer)!

Amazing stay, did not want to leave. The apartment & surrounding views were stunning. Gorgeous shower with lovely toiletries. Kitchen facilities a little restrictive but that was not a problem at all. Close to amenities & restaurants & a lovely, easily accessible, lakeside walkway. Very easy access to lakeside ‘Beach area’. Would absolutely recommend Kjesten & Peters place for a holiday.

Greet location in Auckland! You’re within walking distance of the wharf area including the ferries, shopping, and Sky City. Very beautiful view of water from apartment’s deck. Jonno was very responsive and his team at QV was helpful. I would recommend this place to those staying in Auckland.

Melanie's place was cosy, quiet and tucked away. A lovely bungalow in nature with plenty of peace and quiet. Close enough to the CBD (20 mins) and 30 mins to Hunua ranges. The room was immaculate and provided all facilities we needed for 2 nights. Melanie was very helpful and responsive. Would love to stay again!
