Petra is a very nice and accommodating host. Everything matched the descriptions. She couldn't help the very mixed weather. Nevertheless, guests arriving with bicycles and possibly with a child trailer should know that there is no storage space. Otherwise, everything was really great!

Great place to stay in the countryside! We spent 3 nights visiting Hamburg - the former waterworks is an original accommodation directly on the banks of the Elbe (even if you can only see the Elbe from the outermost corner of the window...). The building makes a freshly renovated impression, everything is tip-top. Although you are not far from the center of Hamburg, you will find yourself absolutely in the countryside, in a quiet environment. And the center of Blankenese is within walking distance, with shops, cafes, bars and S-Bahn. We were very pleased!

We immediately felt comfortable in the cottage. Equipped with everything you need, even a charging station for the electric car - great! Quiet environment and dog-friendly. Highly recommended! 😊

We were allowed to spend an extended weekend in Birte's house. From the first moment, we felt very comfortable. The accommodation is very cozy and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. The quiet location in the middle of the countryside is particularly beautiful – perfect for unwinding and resting. Thanks to the direct access to the dike, you can spontaneously watch the ships and sheep passing by. The sauna is also a nice bonus (costs extra, but the price is fine). All in all, a completely successful stay – we will be happy to come back!

I wish we could give a negative review - then this place wouldn't be booked so often :-) An absolute recommendation, from the communication to the apartment itself everything perfect. We felt comfortable immediately and would book here again and again. Absolute recommendation!

My partner and I wanted to have a change of scenery for a few days and were able to realize this wish wonderfully with the apartment. The location of the apartment is perfect to quickly get to the village and the beach! (Never took more than 5 minutes). From the balcony you can look out at the North Sea and watch the passing ships for hours. Only a slightly larger table for an extended breakfast or a game night, on which you can spread out, was a little lacking. However, this small flaw does not detract from the apartment and it would not be fair to make an issue of it here. The apartment is top. Lovingly furnished, with a large bathroom and a super comfortable bed. A perfect total package for a few days in the North Sea! Should we decide on Duhnen again, we hope that the apartment is free!

We were very satisfied with the accommodation. Everything was as described, very clean and there was a very extensive and well thought-out equipment, where even small things like sticky notes and shopping cart chips were available. The pre-communication was very friendly, proactive and helpful. Questions were answered very quickly. We felt very well taken care of. Thank you!

We stayed in this beautiful and well-equipped apartment for 2 days at short notice. One should not be deterred by the external appearance of this "high-rise building". The apartment is small but every inch is used very thoughtfully. The furnishings look high-quality and clean and modern. The balcony is also great, equipped with sliding glass windows and cozy lighting. In the morning you can also have a wonderful breakfast in the sun there. The beach can be reached within a few minutes by foot. We will definitely be back!

This apartment was a real godsend for us! The furniture is a little older, but everything is well maintained and very clean. The bathroom is modernized and the view fantastically beautiful. The amenities are very extensive and there is really everything you need. We'd love to come back and look forward to a next vacation there. Thanks very much for the great holiday.

We had an excellent stay at Anneke’s place. The place was quite aesthetic as well as so convenient with an amazing garden. Our 3 year old daughter especially enjoyed the trampoline and the swing in the garden. The location was really apt, we could do day trips to Amsterdam, Zaanse Schans, Hague, Utrecht, Haarlem. Overall a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend.

Simple house in the middle of the campsite. You pay for the accommodation and then again for the campsite. We have for 4 people incl. Toddler €45 for 3 nights. The accommodation has everything you need (toilet, shower, kitchen equipped, dining table, sofa, terrace, toys for inside and outside.) At the campsite you can use everything (swimming pool, many playgrounds, outdoor pool). Now in the off-season, there wasn't much going on anywhere. There is a lot to offer within 10-40 km. Paul is great. Always accessible and a dear friend. All the best to you, Paul! Recommendation for all those who are looking for simple accommodation and making their own bed.

Great location. Walking distance to Cocksdorp. At the edge of the park, therefore a nice view and tranquility. Easily traveled by car. Three bathrooms, so good for groups (in our case three families) and yet privacy and private place.

We were 2 adults, 2children and had a good time. The pool was the highlight, right now in winter. The living space was very cozy, the space was sufficient, even in the kitchen. There was everything you needed. Definetly recommend.

We stayed one night. The place is in a very beautiful and peaceful camping zone. Right in the lake. There is an easy entrance in the water, clean sand, so you can easily go for a swim as well. Gas BBQ came very handy . Not much hustle . All ready and easy to use . It was a bit chilly when we stayed, but you have a heater inside and enough blankets if you need. The sitting area outside facing the lake is very comfortable and spacious. The bed was a bit uncomfy, but if you stay one two nights it’s not a bother. Place is clean and functional. Host is very friendly and and responsive . It’s is definitely recommended for a short getaway to unwind and enjoy the nature . We loved it

The place is very quiet, was very clean and has everything you need. The view from the panoramic window was really indescribably beautiful. I liked the check-in with the key box. Jana also gave us good tips to do something. On foot you are in about 10 min. on the beach and 20 min. to the nearest grocery store.

Beautiful days in a beautiful accommodation. It was perfect (except for the weather😅). We immediately felt at home. The view of the lake exactly as described. Comfortable beds. This is a lovely home in a quiet and stunning setting on the water. Great for families with kids. This is a great location to explore the lake from and has lots of amenities available for the guests to keep kids busy. Hosts were so friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. Highly recommend a stay here.

The location and views of the accommodation are fantastic. The accommodation is also very, very nice. However, the costs are very high. A washing machine was enclosed in a separate room. At the price, you could also make these available to guests.

The stay at Johanna's was very nice! Check-in was uncomplicated, the accommodation was small but nice, completely sufficient for 2 people. We felt very comfortable. We especially liked that our dog Eddie was also warmly welcome there and we were thus able to experience a few great days 🐶 We will be happy to come back!
