Altefähr - seaside resort on Rügen on the Strelasund

The seaside resort of Altefähr is located on Germany's largest island of Rügen, on the Strelasund and connected almost all year round by ferry directly to the historic harbor town of Stralsund opposite. The house is part of the Sonnengarten vacation park, just two years old and with the most modern amenities. Our semi-detached house has over 80 square meters on two floors, making it the largest house type, with space for five people. Altefähr is a place for water sports, anglers, any form of active vacation - and beach.

The house is located on a large natural plot with forest ideal for play and adventure. It is a 15-minute drive to Stege with shops and restaurants and a 3 km walk to Klintholm harbor town. Optimal area for sea trout fishing. The 'Camønoen' hiking trail passes right by. The house is modernly decorated and sleeps up to 8.

With 57 square meters, the houseboat offers you everything your heart desires and guarantees a relaxing stay. The dining and living room with 2 wood stoves form the heart of the boat and invite you to linger and feel good. There is a bedroom with a double bed and 1 room for 4 people in double bunk beds. The sanitary facilities are typical for boats. There are also 2 terraces. The houseboat is moored in the Barther harbor, an ideal place to explore and experience the bay and the Baltic Sea.

Our exceptional and very spacious apartment (180 sqm) is located in a renovated attic in the heart of the old town. It offers plenty of space for 6 adults. The open ground floor with kitchen, living area, dining area, library, guest toilet and terrace invites you to relax. The upper floor houses 3 large bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom, as well as 1 additional bathroom. In two of the bedrooms, a baby crib or a folding bed for older children can be set up (€10/extra bed/night).

In the bathroom on the upper floor there is a rain shower and a bathtub with fantastic views. The spacious dining area in the basement with fireplace invites you to relax. The loft-style apartment with high-quality furniture and fully equipped kitchen as well as the two bathrooms (one of them en-suite) are furnished with attention to detail and an eye for beauty. Relax in the infrared cabin, which is located in one of the two bedrooms, each equipped with 180x200 box spring beds, or in the freestanding bathtub. Alternatively, you can relax on the large terrace overlooking the harbor and lighthouse.

Our two identical holiday cottages are located in a separate building next to our main house, each with its own private entrance – quiet and private. The sauna is right next to the natural swimming pond and can be used freely, with towels and bathrobes included. The pond is perfect for cooling off after the sauna. Centrally yet peacefully located, directly by the Small Jasmund Bodden and next to a large nature reserve.
