We stayed for one week with our two sons. We appreciated Florians (Niks father who lives at the farm) hospitality and his good advice for nice trips in the area, as well as the beautiful environment and the animals. The pictures give a good idea about the appartment itself.

We had a pleasant stay at Sonja's house. The location is great to explore the area and it was great to come back "home" after a day out to enjoy the comfort of home. We have been traveling with a toddler and it was a great place for home to run around.

We had 2 families (4 adults and 5 children) on the floor 6 days. It was an ideal base camp to go to visit Bled, walk through Triglav park or through Jezersco (less touristy but equally beautiful). As all the comments warn you have to get used to the ringing of the bells and the absence of blinds in the rooms but the beds are very comfortable, the apartment is very clean and well equipped and the hosts are friendly. We recommend it!

We feel lucky to have stayed at this house—the views really are just as stunning as they are in the pictures. Boža and Dušan were very welcoming and we had everything we needed to really settle in for a few nights—the kitchen, for example, was very well furnished with all sorts of practical implements for real cooking (i.e. not just a few dull knives and a single ladle rattling around in otherwise empty drawers). We really appreciated the house's easy access to Italy, Austria, and of course the rest of northwestern Slovenia—it offers a great combination of dramatic mountain views and easy road access (so no daredevil driving up and down steep and rocky rural roads every time you want to get some groceries). I'm sure the house is lovely in all seasons, but it was especially enjoyable to take a dip in the jacuzzi with an overnight frost settling in and then cozy up by the fireplace inside.

Lovely, peaceful setting with a view of the mountains and a convenient walking path to the village. You have ultimate privacy as the home is located at the very end of a gravel road through agricultural fields and small garden plots. House was very clean and everything worked just fine. Very convenient to the large market (groceries, general household needs...and gelato!). Two things to be aware of: There are three houses in the general area with the same address so be sure to put the entire address into your GPS. Also all sleeping areas are upstairs up a stepladder type of stairs. It's fine, but not the house for those with mobility issues. Nela is warm and welcoming and very helpful with tips to make your stay in Slovenia memorable!

Sisters Simenc was wonderful. I liked the balance of being close enough to walk into town, but far enough away there wasn’t a lot of traffic. There’s also a bus stop nearby if you prefer to cut down on walking. We had a number of activities planned, and several of them were less than 10 minutes from the apartment (bike rental, boat rental, grocery store, restaurants). A couple of our plans required meeting at the main bus stop, which is either a lovely walk along the lake or a short bus trip (parking in Bled hard to find). Boris and Tatiana were very friendly, loaned us beach towels and made fresh bread almost every day and offered us some produce from their garden! The apartment was very clean and cozy, amazing water pressure in the shower, and we enjoyed cooling off in the air conditioning on hot days. We didn’t cook a lot, but for 2 people, the kitchen had everything we needed. We had the very best time and our accommodations were part of what made our trip so enjoyable!

Stay was beautiful just behind a small waterfall! Road is not difficult and on our final day it was snowing heavily and host was kind to allow us to checkout later . We had an enjoyable stay, despite rooms being abit small with low ceiling but i guess that’s the norm in slovenia mountains. Totally recommend !

For us, it was a good place as a base for hiking in the Kamnicko-Sawiń Alps, Juliska Alps and Karawanskaya. The neighborhood is quiet, there is a river next to it, and there is also a highway entrance nearby. Even the watch is unnecessary, because the clock on the tower of the church breaks the hours.

A beautiful place to stay. A new home, lovely view out the back patio, relaxing to sit and read, great kitchen to cook in, terrific water pressure, very responsive host, including a surprise of fresh cherries one day, and breakfast another, plus arranged for a cab back to the airport. Eventhough we didn’t speak the same language we could understand each other. I definetly recommend this place if you want to discover the surrounding area with your family. The place was a dream! Very secluded in the middle of nature. Just right for us. We were able to easily reach the property with a BMW X1. The kids were able to play outside and my husband and I enjoyed the peace and quiet. The mountain hut is very modern and yet beautifully rustic. Everything was very clean and worked perfectly. Barbara was very helpful and answered every question immediately. We received many tips and even a homemade jam was waiting for us in the hut. We were very pleased and would have preferred to stay longer.

The house is really nicely located and prepared with a lot of love. The photos don't really do justice to the place. The apartment was perfect for the two of us in terms of size and furnishings, including the dog, who also felt very comfortable and didn't want to leave. I can't even list the many small special features here, it's best to discover them yourself.

Breakfast and restaurant at the house are recommended. Great location right by the lake with direct access to swimming, bar and food right on the water - and ideally oriented to the sundowner. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is clean, the garden is beautiful. The lake is a 10-15 minute walk, the host is very kind and direct. If we come back, we'll still choose this accommodation! Everything was great!
