In einer Höhe von 850 m erwarten Euch Natur pur, Ruhe, unverfälschte Bergwiesen und viele Wander- und Radwege. Im Winter startet direkt hinter dem Haus die Jugelloipe mit Anschluß an die Kammloipe und tschechische Skimagistrale. Mehrere Ski-Abfahrtshänge sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich Loipen und das Biathlon Stadion mit Skiroller Bahn und Skilift, Schlittenhang, MTB Trails und Wanderwege. Am Fichtelsee ist man zu Fuß in 20 Minuten.
