Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Vinton County

This house was by far the best AirBnB rental I have stayed at. Jackie and her family have went above and beyond to make us feel right at home and worry free. The house was furnished with everything you would possibly need. The location is ideal to all of the main attractions in Hocking Hills. Her instructions and recommendations prior to arriving were spot on. The hiking trails on the property are well kept and easy to follow! My dogs absolutely loved being off leash running around the property and trails. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with friends, family, and fur babies! Jackie, thank you for being an amazing host!

We LOVED our stay!! The property was so magical and very private (our favorite part). The first day we were there, the sun was shining and we spent our time lying in the flower field. The hot tub was perfect and so comforting at night. The fire pit by the pond was so calming and the full moon reflecting off the water was so serene. Following the sunny day, we had a rainy day by the pond which fulfilled all my fairy garden pond dreams 🧚🐸 the frogs were active, the pond alive. Genuinely one of my favorite places I’ve stayed. There’s magic in the air. On the sunny day, we drove 20 min to ash cave and cold plunged under the waterfall. It was amazing. We had a 2wd car - it took a couple tries to get up the hill, but we were able to do it. We did not leave the property on the rainy day, we would not have been able to get up the driveway. So definitely keep in mind the weather if you aren’t driving a 4wd vehicle.

Stayed here with multiple families and kids and it was perfect!! The kids loved being on their own floor in the basement and every couple had their own bedroom! The common area was spacious and plenty of dining space!! We had an amazing time having game tournaments in the game area as well!

We had a wonderful time. I will definitely recommend it to others. It was very beautiful and very relaxing for us.

Even more amazing than last year! We noticed several renovations / improvements around the property. Everything was well-stocked, clearly-labeled, so well-organized! Kitchen/bathrooms/ linens/kitchen PRISTINE. Fall foliage on-point (last year we were a few weeks too late). The gas grill and solo fire pit are amazing! Thank you Devon for another AMAZING stay and break from the pressures day-to-day life!

Miranda was a super host! She answered questions ahead of me asking, have great directions on how to find it and get in! The property was wonderful- our kids loved exploring and we enjoyed the hot tub and nice firepit all weekend. Inside was comfortable, roomy and had all the amenities we would need and more ! I highly recommend fo a family or friends to stay here.

We enjoyed our quick visit to Chillicothe. "The Cycologist" was a comfortable and charming townhouse with a definite historic vibe. It was great being right in town and within walking distance of shops and eateries. Would definitely stay again if we make it back to this area.

I was in town for a concert and some hiking & this place was perfect! Short drive into town, peaceful location, and a clean simple apartment. The hosts were helpful and available.

My husband and I stayed at Idyll Reserve 5 (The North) for two nights in January and had a fabulous stay! 🌲❄️ The cabin was thoughtfully designed, tastefully decorated, and very spacious for the two of us (& could accommodate a small family easily). It had all the amenities you’d need for a cozy stay — spacious, fully-stocked kitchen (with coffee & espresso maker! ☕️), comfy couch, living room with large windows & beautiful views of the surrounding woods, walk-in double shower & soaking tub, and our personal favorites — the outdoor hot tub and sauna! Laura was extremely responsive and communication regarding check-in was the best I’ve had with an Airbnb host. We could have easily stayed several more days. Hocking Hills State Park is just a ~10 minute drive away (we did some gorgeous hiking to Ash Cave, Old Man’s Cave, and Cedar Falls all within a half day). We’re already planning our next trip back with our kids! 🥰

This was a very clean, cozy, and quiet place to stay when we visited Hocking Hills! The inside was newly done with cute decorations. The outdoor area is a nice place to hang out, and we caught and released many fish in the pond. A great choice and value for our getaway!

I would highly recommend this to anyone! This place was phenomenal and quiet and peaceful. Christine and Matt went beyond what anyone would expect. A lot of extra’s that you would not expect, like smores for the fire out back, snacks and drinks, a cheesecake, tooth paste, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Extremely clean, extra blankets, pillows, robes, many towels, this place is extra clean, quiet. There is a hot tub, and a fire pit for the relaxing evenings. We will return without hesitation. Thank you Matt and Christine you two are the best, and very appreciated more than you know. Thank you again.

I had a long stay here and it was perfect! The place is new and was very clean. kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Fawn was a great host and was always quick to help with any questions I had. Enjoyed my stay so much!

This location was absolutely beautiful, and Lindsey was a fantastic host! This was wonderful for our weekend getaway, and we thoroughly enjoyed spending a peaceful evening on the porch taking in the nature. We would absolutely visit again!

Peaceful, comfortable and relaxed is exactly how we felt at Tanner's place. Everything was modern, clean and spacious. With two families with toddlers, this was the perfect space both outdoors and indoors. We loved it so much we asked to stay another night and luckily had availability. This gave us more time to truly enjoy everything Hocking Hills and this place had to offer. We absolutely want to stay again in the future and would highly recommend others to stay here. Thank you Tanner for everything! It was exceptional and we will be talking about this weekend for years to come.

We have rented cabin the past 2 years. Beautiful cabin. We enjoy the large dinner table for our card games and family dinner. We had a lot of fun playing corn hole, pool, and ping- pong. We had outdoor fire and enjoyed the hot tub. Close to the caves too. We look forward to returning next year!

We loved, loved, loved our stay at Liberty Hill cabin! The kitchen was wonderful for doing a lot of big cooks and was well appointed. Good table space inside and out for family game nights. Lots of cozy blankets and pillows for snuggling up to watch family movies. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable - it was such a treat to wake up to the wooded view every morning. We had hot tub soaks after our days out hiking, and s’more night every night at the fire pit. There were lots of charming little extras throughout- the office space w monitor, key board and mouse and charging stations in all the bedrooms were especially helpful. We had a family vacation to remember and can’t wait to come back again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Everything was as advertised and we couldn’t be happier. The cabin was tucked away on a hill with a beautiful view and quite private. We took our dog and didn’t have any issues with the cabin being pet friendly. Since the cabin was on a hill and we couldn’t drive up, lugging our bags was a pain - so I’d pack light. Otherwise, everything about the place and the hosts was excellent! Highly recommend.

Cabin was amazing and so relaxing my family enjoyed every moment! The host was great and very nice. My kids said we for sure need to go back can’t wait for are next stay!

Laura’s cabin in Hocking hills was lovely. Clean with great views of the woods. The hot tub was nice and relaxing and was clean. Laura was fabulous to work with and responded quickly to texts. A great weekend getaway!

The pictures do not do this place justice! Absolutely beautiful surroundings, walkable trails, peaceful and full of amenities! We were welcomed by a lovely personalized sign and all the supplies for S'mores. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. So many little things, like the bathroom having a 'night light' mode and a towel warmer. The kitchen was stocked with utensils, a full-blown coffee station and stunning view of the caves and woodlands. We felt so comfortable here, like we were truly staying at a home that was loved and well cared for, full of personality. We will definitely be staying again! Thank you!
