Cabin vacation rentals in Vinton County

Our stay was great and the place looked as advertised. It was comfortable, and we really enjoyed relaxing and taking in the surroundings. The only downside was the trash at the end of the drive, it didn’t give the best first impression when we arrived. Additionally, the host stopped responding after check-in, which was a bit disappointing. Overall though, it was a nice getaway and we appreciated the chance to unwind.

We had a fantastic time at Sharon's place. The cabin was so charming and warm. We loved the hot tub especially; it felt great after a day of hiking. We really appreciated the abundance of towels and washcloths. We'd love to go back again.

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved our stay at Arrowhead Hill. The cabin was beautiful and clean. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub and our two pups enjoyed roaming the property. We definitely plan on returning and sharing the experience with family and friends.

Cabin was beautiful, roomy, and great location. We had our thanksgiving here, with 4 kids, and 6 adults, plenty of room and the wrap around porch with the hot tub was perfect!

We were looking for a quaint little cabin to have a “staycation” and this was the perfect fit! Love the private space and huge front yard for our dog to play in! Wish it was a little closer to Hocking Hills but it was beautiful by itself!

The property & walking paths on this house are worth booking alone! The paths are so beautiful at night when the solar lights line the whole way! Even the nearby pond offered hours of entertainment for my kids. The bedrooms are large & the bed linens are wonderful after a long day of hiking. The kitchen is very well stocked too (found syrup, luckily). And to top it all off, you’re very near all of the best Hocking Hills hikes.

Our family had a wonderful stay, the cabin was as described and very clean. Very secluded and private, perfect for a quiet getaway. Lots of time spent in the hot tub and hiking at nearby Hocking Hills! Thanks Ian and Megan for a great stay!

This was by far the best cabin stay I’ve ever had. Completely private and quiet. Had everything we needed in the cabin. Great for a family Of four . We brought our dogs and they had a blast . Fished for blue gill in the pond the whole time .

This cabin is wonderful. We wanted something kid and pet friendly and it’s able to be both without missing a beat on offering a very clean, comfortable setting. It felt so homey inside. It’s well stocked with linens and kitchen needs, has many fun actives (board games, giant connect 4, large jenga, foosball, air hockey, ringer darts), has a large, clean hot tub and plenty of outdoor furniture, a propane grill, and is in a very private location. The WiFi worked great. The beds are very comfortable. The driveway is a serious climb; we drove a Yukon and an F150 and made it up fine but you wouldn’t want to count on parking at the bottom and walking your bags up so follow the hosts instructions on having a proper vehicle. We loved that the hilltop location made it feel more secluded and safe so it’s worth it. Overall exactly as pictured and even more enjoyable than expected. It’s clean, cozy, comfy and family friendly for adults, kids and four legged dog friends!

The cabin was secluded and so peaceful! Everything was as it was described to us! We had everything we needed to stay! Would definitely book this cabin again!

This cabin was amazing and was so cozy for my boyfriend and my pup! We loved how secluded it was but also so close to everything. Brian and Ameila were very accommodating even when having to reschedule due to the snow storm. No extra charge or difficulties changing the date, definitely one of the best hosts I’ve experienced.

We went to Havenbrook for a girls weekend and getaway and had a great time. The home was incredibly clean and as described in the listing. It was so cozy and a lovely place to spend quality time with friends. Despite the fact that the weather wasn't great, we had no shortage of things to do, cooking in the kitchen, enjoying the hot tub, playing games, and taking a trip to the Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls for massages (about 15 minutes away). We had a wonderful time!

our stay was amazing, although too short! we will definitely be back! The home is beautiful and Becky and Steve have thought of everything! our favorite parts were the coffee bar and enjoying our coffee on the beautiful porch overlooking the property. We also had a great time fishing and loved the peace and serenity. We will definitely be back when we can stay longer. thank you foe our amazing weekend!!

I am a return customer and will return again. This is a decompression getaway where I can enjoy the comfortable cabin with a pastoral view of fields and trees and virtually never see another human being. Unpaved road adds a touch of solitude, yet can get to attractions in Hocking Hills in a few minutes or a family run restaurant for a meal. The simple furnishings let us fix our meals, play games, watch wildlife, and retire to bed at the end of the day. A true getaway.

We stayed at the cabin for my son’s birthday to go hiking in the Hocking Hills State Park trails. This was a great cabin because not only was it drivable to many trails in the park but the property had its own trails and a pond that was super walkable. Then in the evenings the Hot tub was super nice to relax in after a long day on the trails. Was such a great time and given the opportunity will definitely stay here again.

This home was perfect for our gals work retreat! Very comfortable and clean and a pristine nature setting!

We enjoyed our visit to the Lazy Bear Lodge! The cabin was in a very peaceful and quiet area. The cabin itself was new, clean and well maintained. Our family liked the firepit, hot tub, and shuffle board game. We cooked and grilled; the kitchen had everything we needed! The closest hiking trails are about 10/15 mins away along some curvy, windy, not-fully paved roads, but that didn't bother us as it was an adventure! There is very little cell-service in that area but the cabin had Wi-Fi. The owner, Mandi, was attentive and even though we booked very last minute made sure we had everything we needed. We had a great visit and look forward to going back!

Wonderful trip to McArthur, this cabin was conveniently located off State RT 50, and the nearby cell tower made staying connected a breeze. We loved using the full kitchen! It is located just outside of Hocking Hills SP (about 30 minutes) and lots to do up that way. We would love to return in the fall. Our host was also very responsive, helpful, and friendly!

We stayed for one night and enjoyed the space and area. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We had beautiful weather so we were able to use the outside fire pit. It was about 10-15 minutes to hocking hill caves. The hosts were quick to respond which was great.

This cozy cabin was well-equipped and we felt right at home.
