Beautiful location, great hosts, very helpful. If able, definitely recommend the motorbike/scooter tour Thanh offers and also hiring a scooter yourself and going exploring the surrounding mountains. Our stay here was amazing! All of the staff were super accommodating & lovely, we felt right at home. The price was great value for everything included. The room was exactly what we were after, super clean, comfortable & the added bonus of the tv was awesome. The owner of the place actually sat down with us and went through a map of the area/ all the sites that were in the area and what was worth seeing in the time we were there. He went above and beyond and we couldn’t be more grateful for this. 100% recommend staying here in general but particularly if you’re a traveler. Thanks so much for having us!

Mountain and Lake View, Free Breakfast for 2

I originally booked for 1 night but ended up staying for 5 in total. Mike and his family are very friendly and helpful, I enjoyed his sister’s breakfasts - very tasty! The room was large and pretty clean, AC/fan/fridge all worked perfectly. If you ride a scooter then the location is perfect, if you don’t (like me) then it could be a little inconvenient, although there are restaurants close by and you can walk a minute to the main road and take a grab taxi. The food is simple, home cooked stuff - with very generous portions and a fair price. Beer, water etc is also fairly priced. I was doing some online teaching during my stay, there is a small table in the room and the WiFi is fast, although there was one day we had a power cut and I had some issues with a couple of classes, so keep that in mind if you’re a ‘digital nomad’ / teacher. Overall, I’d like to thank Mike and his family for having me to stay and I would happily stay there again.

Nice and spacious rooms set in serene surroundings - hills, greenery and little ponds. the kind of place where you could just sit and watch the day go by,if that's your thing. Not far from Trang An boating pier and Hang Mua caves.

The sparkling clean bungalows have a magnificent view of the lake and the mountains. The owner and staff are so nice and welcoming and the pool is amazing on those hot afternoons. The location, while beautiful, is far from everything so if you don’t have transportation expect some grab and taxi rides - although they aren’t very expensive so it was fine. And one note- the WiFi is not very strong, but was adequate for our needs. Probably not great for digital nomads though.

We had an incredible time staying with Thanh. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, the rooms were comfortable, everyone was very friendly and the food was delicious. It was easy to walk into the small town where there were a few cafés and restaurants, and Thanh organised so many amazing things for us to do during the day. Everything felt very personalised and full of local recommendations. He went above and beyond in celebrating the birthday of one of our group. This is a great place to stay to explore all of the beautiful things Ninh Binh has to offer!
