Family-friendly vacation rentals in Villentrois

We had a great time at Christophe's place. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the cleanliness, the location to visit the castles of the Loire and the amenities (especially those for our baby as if we were at home and the hot tub that allowed us to rest well)! We recommend it without hesitation!

Small house, clean, practical, nothing missing. The owners are easily reachable and help as much as they can in the event of any problems. The hot tub was extra. The pool area is pleasant and well appointed. Very well located, it allows you to make beautiful visits nearby: Chambord, the castle of Villesavin, Cheverny, the activities of Loisirs Loire Valley, rent bikes,… With our 3-year-old child, it was an excellent destination.

We offered 3 unforgettable days to our children and grandchildren!!!! Obviously with the sun, the hot pool was occupied from morning to night!!! The welcome and arrangements with Elodie, allowed me to enjoy my whole family!

We loved our stay at Nathalie's. The caravan was well equipped and comfortable. The kids loved the pools and waterslides, which even though the weather was chilly on the day we were there, were heated outside to 27 degrees. Very nice! Nathalie was responsive and very lovely to communicate with.

We have just had the best 12 days staying at Oliver's stunning garden room. The accomodation was perfect, the garden stunning & the hot tub was a treat after a day exploring the area. Oliver reccomended some great places to visit that we may not have gone to as there are so many great places to visit. We had the pleasure of having a drink with Oliver & Marie before we left which was lovely way to end our stay....merci Oliver 🙂 We would reccomend staying at Oliver's to anyone & you would love it 👍🏻🙂

Fantastic summer holiday for our party of 8 adults and 11 children. We swam in the river, played table tennis, swam in the pool, played pool, fed the chickens, played tennis and had many dinners and lunches on the fabulous endless benches and tables outside. The beds are all very comfortable & of high quality - they are also a great size (I’m 6ft 4). The accommodation is very well appointed & there are lots of charming finishing touches. There are two great supermarkets about 12 mins drive away. The hosts could not have been kinder or more generous. Would warmly recommend!

We had a pleasant weekend close to our visits, very nice accommodation with different relaxation areas. And for those who come with young children, they have plenty to enjoy, very suitable for families.

Great cottage very well located in the area in relation to castles and zoo. The view of nature from the veranda is just amazing and allows you to rest in peace. Tastefully decorated and well-equipped house for the whole family. Our daughter and our dog and ourselves were very delighted. We would definitely recommend this property.

Chantal’s place was beautiful. Lovely furnishings and decor. The view was unbelievable and both rooms were equally comfortable. The sound of the Loire going under the bridge lulled you to sleep. The quality of the bedding was top notch! We enjoyed meeting Chantal and loved her energy. Highly recommend!

Beautifully renovated quirky old house in Amboise. Central but quiet, minutes on foot from everything you want to see in Amboise. Clean and furnished well enough. The host was amazing, clear instruction, pro-active, and super helpful! We forgot something expensive in the house when we left and they agreed to post them back to us! Thank you so much Alexandra! Not a house for you unfortunately if you have mobility issues, the bedrooms are either downstairs or upstairs. Stairs are a bit steep (lovely old house quirk🤷‍♀️). We couldn’t find washing machine soap, but I had brought washing machine pods (in case you are planning a long stay). There is a drier as well, which you will find takes a long time to dry, but is a luxury in Europe. There is also a drying rack if you prefer. We had an absolutely lovely stay! Thanks again Alex!

This place was Spacious; very Spacious for just my husband and I. Loved It!! Walking distance for a lot of stores and restaurants. If You really want to treat yourself go to Le Reserve-it was amazing!! Get the Apple for dessert. Eating at and living near the Clock Tower and an easy walk to the Chateau d’ Amboise was perfect. Take a cold bottle of water if you’re walking to Leonardo Di Vinci’s home. It’s worth the walk, but it is a workout, especially with no Cold Water. The chime on the Clock Tower at the 1/2 hr made me smile. Reminded me I was in France every-time! I think it stopped at 6 pm daily. I would not only return I would live here!! Merci

Clean and well appointed accommodation. For a weekend with family close to Chenonceau Castle and Beauval Zoo, and a small lake with games just a stone's throw from the accommodation, which our children enjoyed.

We rented both the Nikishi and Rheum apartments for our stay and loved both spaces! Valerie is a truly wonderful host, so very thoughtful and welcoming, and the property could not be more beautiful and peaceful. The apartments had all the comfort one could need, including quality bedding/linens, and comforts like tea and coffee. There is so much to explore on the property itself, and even more to discover within an hour's drive. My family cannot recommend this property and Valerie enough! We will be back!

A big thank you to Danielle and her son for their hospitality, kindness and advice for our visit to Beauval Zoo! We recommend the place if you want to go green it's ideal, the pool was refreshing which we enjoyed with the sunny weather. The wifi didn't work well in the house but very well outside. Thanks again, we won't hesitate to come back if we're in the area again.

We are very satisfied with our stay in Florence's cottage. The highlight is the indoor pool area, which allows children to unwind after excursions, regardless of the weather. The house as a whole met our needs, we recommend it.

Great stay under the sun. The pool and large outdoor table are great. The kids had everything they needed to have fun. The hens had little chicks during our stay to the delight of the children. I highly recommend this listing There are also many tours and walks to do nearby.

The cottage is very comfortable and has a very pleasant and peaceful setting. We had a bachelor party and were able to fully enjoy the available space, whether inside to play board games or outside with the barbecue and brazero. Thank you to Laurence and her husband for hosting and being available throughout this weekend!

We had a lovely stay at Françoise's! At a time of high heat but the stone house stays cool which is perfect, a very pleasant swimming pool in a peaceful setting. Françoise and her husband offered us many fruits and vegetables from their garden as well as bakery specialties, friendly hosts as we would like to meet more often!

Patrick is a gracious host who greets you up on arrival in order to show you the amenities and how everything works. The property itself is lovely and the living spaces are all very clean, roomy and well decorated. Kitchen is well supplied with everything needed for cooking. The swimming pool, which we used in mid-May was special treat, warm and has a lovely view of chapel and town in the distance. There is but one thing which does not come across in the description of this space, which is that only one bedroom adjoins the living/dining/kitchen space. The 2nd bedroom is accessed via the 1st bedroom... or through the outside walkway, which in our case worked just fine with the lovely weather we had. May not be an issue if you are with your children, but with my in-laws this would have been very inconvenient if the weather was bad. So, other than that I can highly recommend Patricks place for a wonderfully cozy stay in beautiful French countryside close to numerous chateau.
