House vacation rentals in Villenave-d'Ornon

Sarah's cottage in the middle of the vineyard was a great place to stay. It is peaceful and the scenery was beautiful, while being convenient to many areas in the Bordeaux region. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Sarah and her apprentice, Samuel, were very friendly and accommodating. The wine tasting and tour were really interesting. We would definitely stay here again.

An absolutely perfect stay! The accommodation is as described, very clean, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The location is ideal, close to everything you needed. The host Karim was very responsive, welcoming and attentive throughout the stay. I would recommend it without so much as a second thought and I would happily stay there again!

Denis' place is really great. We were very warmly welcomed with the most delicious canelés. The pool was perfect for the hot days in Bordeaux. However, it must be said that the accommodation is a little further from downtown. Since we depend on public transport, this was not ideal for us. Otherwise, the accommodation is perfect and a fan was even provided. The sweet cat did its best 🥰 we would recommend the apartment, but would point out that you should plan a little more time to visit the city center. Thank you for the great time. 😊

Auguste's home was perfect for a family holiday. The house is large, airy and features lots of areas to relax and socialise in. The surrounding gardens, pool and dock are stunning. The home is situated at a quiet lane with Auguste next door. He was an attentive and helpful host and gave us all the space we needed. Our group did not have a car so relied on taxis, with mixed results - so keep that in mind. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks

Very nice house, nice pool we enjoyed it. Located in a quiet area with lots of shops around (Auchan, bakery, pharmacy etc.), close to Bordeaux. We had a lovely stay, the only downside was the mosquitoes:)

Had a wonderful stay at this home. We had six people and there was plenty of room. The house is very clean and had great lighting-loved the windows. In a very peaceful area and felt very secure. My husband liked the walking trail. Views were awesome and close enough to Bordeaux to pop in to see the sights.

Nathalie and Hubert were very kind and friendly. The place was pristine, beautiful and relaxing. You have to hire a car to visit places in Bordeaux but Hubert provided many great suggestions of local wineries and things to do. He was always responsive and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone thinking about visiting Bordeaux.

comfortable small house near Bordeaux

We spent a month in Sophie's home. The apartment is super nice: extremely well equipped, spacious kitchen that makes you want to cook and spend time there, sun terrace and deckchairs & even bike parking, office area with more than necessary to work in good conditions! In short, the list is long but we loved living there. By bike, Bordeaux is very close, less than 15 minutes from Place Victoire. Again, thank you for this great experience that makes you want to come back. 😉

We had a lovely time at this place. The room is atypical, I had a good laugh getting down there. nice, very well arranged and very beautiful. if we return to Bordeaux we will not hesitate to rent this place again. I recommend it 150%.

The accommodation is impeccable and is exactly as advertised. The soundproofing of the apartment is remarkable. The street is quite busy (including several buses), but once the windows were closed, we couldn't hear anything. The air conditioning is also very good, allowing us to have quiet and cool nights. The bed is comfortable. The rooms are large and have windows. That's very clear. Nothing to do with Sabine's accommodation, but from June 2 until August 31, the tram line passing 2 minutes from the apartment and leading directly to the city center is interrupted for major works. Relay buses take over and pass close to the apartment, but instead of a 25-minute journey, it can take between 40 and 60 minutes depending on the time of day. This should be expected in your planning of the day.

Thank you so much for an excellent weekend! Perfect location between Bordeaux and Arcachon. Amazing setting with plenty of châteaux around, vineyards, and that otherworldly water tower! The Wi-Fi internet was a bit disappointing - the signal wasn't very strong, so please keep this in mind if it's important to you. The house has almost everything you might need. Private parking right next to the house. Convenient check-in and check-out. Excellent mattresses, pillows, and bedding. Unfortunately, we didn't spot any kangaroos, so we'll have to come back again!

We were a group of 6 UK based cyclists seeking a great base to explore the outstanding area and wanting the superb level of accommodation the this fabulous property offered and delivered. Excellent level of equipment, beautiful outlook, extremely peaceful, short transfer time from Bordeaux airport Guillaume is a great host, when our flight was cancelled from our original booked date he responded very quickly to our request to postpone the booking by 24 hours and then extend it by 24 hours to allow for the flight changes at both ends of our break. Exceptionally clean home! Quiet, functional and well-equipped. The bedding is comfortable. Beautiful terrace overlooking a green setting where you can hopefully see a squirrel having fun in the trees. 20 minutes from Bordeaux, it is nice to visit this beautiful city. We will go back without hesitation. See you soon…

It was a wonderful weekend at Jean-Charles and Elodie's! The Airbnb is like a beautiful moment suspended in a small paradise... inside a beautiful building renovated by Jean-Charles with a sense of respect for the history of the place and a way between tradition and modernity, in the middle of nature. We had a great time!

We spent wonderful days in the beautiful, lovingly furnished accommodation of Maité and enjoyed the pool very much! Maité and her husband are very warm, friendly hosts, we felt very comfortable and recommend the accommodation without restriction!

A very welcoming home, Julien was there when we arrived as we were a little earlier than planned. Julien also sent videos prior to check in including a tour of the house and how to check in. Very responsive host. The house was brilliant and well equipped. A great size for us, we visited with family including our two young daughters and they especially loved the pool! There is a metro stop on the same street, we used it to get to Bordeaux and plenty of supermarkets and restaurants in the local area. Julien also shared a list of local places prior to our visit. Nearby is a place called Bègles Plage, it has a play park and beach area on the lake which is perfect for families. We had a wonderful four night stay in Bégles and would highly recommend this property, great value also. Thank you Julien and Rachid 😊

The house is spacious, excellent bedding, the rooms are nice, wardrobes in each room which is appreciable for hanging clothes. The bathrooms and toilets are very clean like the whole house. Bright kitchen. We had a peaceful weekend and the house really met our expectations
