Beautiful location! We stayed in Lavender Cottage which has a private entrance and sunny garden with table, chairs and sun loungers. We took advantage of Susan’s first night meal and breakfast in the morning which made for an easy and stress free arrival and was excellent. We had a fun day out with Martin and 2 other couples wine tasting, we went to 3 very different wineries and enjoyed a 3 course meal which was also included. Susan and Martin are a fountain of knowledge concerning where to visit and eat which was really helpful and made our days out a lot easier to plan. The pool is a lovely place to cool off after a busy days sightseeing and there are also pretty shared gardens with BBQs where you can chill out and eat if you want to. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and nothing was too much trouble to make our stay special. It is very rural so a car is essential, but if you want a truly French experience would highly recommend! Thank you Susan & Martin for a memorable holiday!

We spent 2x nights at Jean-Claude’s and had a great time. The place has been lovingly restored and the pool was perfect for a refreshing dip. We appreciated the recommendation to visit Chateau d’Ussé - truly magical.

A lovely spot on the outskirts of Saumur… in a peaceful village. The apartment was incredibly clean and had all we needed, including a little terrace which we were grateful for after a long drive on a hot May day. We briefly met Nicole who was very kind and accommodating. Recommended!

Great stay at the Boum Coeur cottage, consistent with descriptions and photos. Very pleasant time at Troglo Spa. Dinner and breakfast were very good and hearty. Julie is a very friendly host, very responsive and attentive to our wishes. It was perfect!!!

Everything about this place was amazing! It’s so well done. The location is beautiful, the space had everything you could need and more. The kitchen was great. We enjoyed our time outside. Françoise was a great host. The only regret is that we didn’t get to stay longer.

We came to spend a weekend with the family in the area to get together and visit estates! The house is really very nice with everything you need on site to have a great time! We loved our stay in Tipi Dakota the largest of the 3 tipis. Franck our host offered crayfish nets for our 5 yo son & my husband went fishing in the lakes opposite while I went for a run and a bit of yoga (meaning it was very peaceful and private) The tipi was spotless and very comfortable with extra amenities such as AC which I don't think was on the listing so lovely and cool at night. The little pool was a perfect addition for us and safe. Franck and his wife Valerie run the pizza truck across the road which for a very fussy pizza eater was probably the best pizza I have ever had. !! We loved the chickens and peacock just wondering around. thank you Franck for a great stay and I hope the crayfish were tasty 😋.

beautiful house, clean and spacious. In the kitchen there is everything you need to cook quietly and there is enough cutlery and plates for everyone. the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy. Our stay went perfectly well. Our 11-year-old kids (and ourselves) loved the place, especially the outdoor structures with a very large pool in which they crazily had fun. The place is very friendly, our hosts were very nice and hospitable. Beautiful environment, the village is very friendly, for lovers of tranquility and authenticity. To discover! ps: we loved the pizzas offered by the village bar owners:-)
