Ideal stopover for the Loire by Bike and/or to visit the castles of the Loire (1 km from the Petrifying Caves of Savonnières, 2.5 km from Villandry and its castle, 15 km from the Château d'Azay-le-Rideau and Langeais and the city of Tours) or simply to relax, fish, enjoy the beach.

You will see the Château de Villandry from your vacation rental. The Château de Villandry illuminates this corner of Touraine and you will be "front row". In the heart of the village, in a 17th century house where charm inevitably works, you will have a unique experience in this charming home. Azay-le-Rideau, Rigny-Ussé, Langeais, Chinon, Amboise, Chenonceau, Chambord, are among the largest sites in our region. The Futuroscope and Beauval Zoo are only 1 hour away!

The cottage is located in the countryside, on the D7, 3 km from the A85 motorway, 3 km from the Loire bike path, close to the castles of Villandry, Langeais (6 km) and Azay-le-Rideau (7 km). Fontevraud Abbey, the castles of Chinon, Saumur, Chenonceau, and even Chaumont-sur-Loire are accessible within the hour thanks to the expressways. Bike shelter available. Private parking. The cottage is completely separate from my house which is nearby. You're my only guests.

PLEASE NOTE, check-in is only possible from 2pm to 6pm as I do not live on the premises. Come and discover an unusual 40 m² south-facing dwelling, dug into the rock, which ensures a cool temperature in summer and warm in winter. It consists of a large living room with kitchen area, bedroom, storage area and bathroom. Its location is ideal for discovering the Loire Valley and its castles. Located 5 km from the A 85 and 10 km from Villandry.

Welcome to L'Échappée d'Azay, We welcome you to a lovely cozy tuffeau stone house, in the heart of the village of Azay-Le-Rideau.  Located 600 m walk from the Château and local shops (restaurants, butcher, cheese maker, supermarket, wine cellar...), it is the ideal starting point for visiting the Châteaux de la Loire and the cellars of the region.  No less than seven castles are nearby (Langeais, Villandry, Chinon, Rigny Ussé…).

(see reviews on the other listing) The location is close to Tours, but in the countryside, ideal for visiting the castles, 3 minutes from the Golf de Touraine. The apartment is quiet and bright.
