Monthly Rentals in Villagonia

I can’t put into words how much I loved staying here for a month. I’ve lived in a number of Airbnbs over the last years but this one holds a special place in my heart. I loved watching the sunrise over the ocean from bed every morning, drinking coffee on the terrace and going for a walk at the beautiful waterfront that takes only a couple of minutes walking to get to. We stayed here all February and even though it was cold during some of our stay the heating worked perfectly and the flat was always warm which isn’t always the case in Italy. It’s also really light which is great if you have to work and spend some of your time inside. On the sunny days it was wonderful working on the terrace. But what makes it special was how caring and responsive Olga was. She really thought of everything when equipping the place and even let us check in one night earlier. She also gave great recommendations and made us feel really at home. Can’t recommend staying here enough!

House in a perfect location just a 5-minute walk from Taormina-giardini station, Francesco was always kind and helpful, even just for this. House with not too many pretensions, but clean and cozy; very easy check-in, easy to locate, in a decidedly strategic location.

A really beautiful and confortable home with a lovely hostess! Laura's home is beautifully decorated with an amazing scented garden with a view. Perfectly situated in the old Taormina, 20 meters from Porta Catania to which you enter the main street, Corso Umberto, full of shops, restaurants, and many churches to visit. A very pleasant walk in the morning when not too busy to discover the beautiful architecture of the town, stop off for breakfast then visit the Teatro Antico. The view is fabulous. If you walk to the end of Corso Umberto just after Porta Messina, take the cable car down and visit the small Mazzaro beach. Have an expensive but worthwhile drink at the Villa Sant'Andrea hotel, stunning and lovely staff. On Laura's suggestion and help for the reservation, we had a wonderful diner at Casa Niclodi, a must! We can't wait to return and visit more the surroundings, but Laura's home is hard to leave! Thank you Laura for your very warm welcome, you really made us feel at home.

Lara's place is absolutely great. We opened the door and we were on the beach! The bus stop and the train station are just a short walk away. Therefore, you can reach Taormina, Catania and Messina very easily. The flat is very, very clean and well kitted. It can accommodate a family of 4 nicely. Gisella is always ready to help and we felt right at home. We had a fabulous week and we will come back! Thank you for a lovely stay!
