The location is the best in the city (Golf), green, peaceful, safe and close to everything (Punta Carretas Shopping, Parque Rodó, Ciudad Vieja, Rambla, beach).

I couldn’t stayed in the apartment because the host informed me that it was flooded. Apparently a pipe broke. He reserved a 5 hotel for us! and paid for it. He always communicated with us to make sure everything was ok.

We spent two beautiful nights in Posada Macondo, the place is very nice, everything in excellent condition, I found the tranquility I was looking for, contact with nature, walking trails, beautiful sea wall and Claudia is a great host, she made us feel very comfortable, a spectacular breakfast, barbecue with mountain firewood, we will definitely see each other again. Thank you Claudia

this place is just as it looks in the photos. I absolutely adore this apartment and it's really close to la rambla for a nice walk to unwind. really close to the center and a very friendly host!

The bathroom features modern gray tile walls and a walk-in shower enclosed by glass. A pedestal sink with a mirror above complements the decor. Towels and toiletries are neatly arranged, contributing to a clean and functional space.

It's true what other travelers say: the photos don't do the house justice. It's truly beautiful, warm, and beautifully decorated. It is also spacious, surrounded by a beautiful forest and includes bicycles with which any destination in the village is easily accessible. It is important to clarify that the style is rustic, and would not be suitable for the one who likes luxurious experiences and does not enjoy the interaction with nature. To name a few things, the hot shower is short and no curtain, the security of the entrance door is minimal (a padlock), and there are no curtains anywhere in the house (it has forest shade). That said, none of this was a problem for us and we would be happy to come back. I clarify it so that some confusion does not fall. Like the one that goes to the tiger and in the reviews complains about the mosquitoes... But if you like nature and do not bother you some minor discomfort, this house is a paradise in summer or winter. And the hosts, some divine. Recommended!
