Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Vila Verde

Thank you to Carla and her husband for hosting us. The house and pool are great, the view of the mountains is amazing. We had a great vacation. It's a shame to sometimes hear the dogs from the kennel at the bottom of the village. We recommend!!

5 stars to António and his beautiful home at Casa dos Fernandos! The house is stunning; it’s a restored historic stone home that retains all charm and character but with modern amenities. The inside is very clean and has everything we could want for a long stay. I also must commend the gardens - there is so much fruit and chestnuts to be harvested and António took the time to explain it all to us and also invited us to use what we would like. António is as gracious host who greeted us personally to show us around - he even had some wine and other essentials ready for us. And, because it was a colder day, he had already started a fire in the beautiful fireplace. The house has plenty of room. We are just one couple and have lots of room to spread out but I can see how even multiple families could share this space and be very comfortable. The location is top! It’s across from a lovely church, and a short drive to many shops and restaurants in town. Highly recommended !

Quinta da Maínha is a loving and quiet nook on the outskirts of Braga just minutes from the famous monastery of Tibães. The House as well as the garden, the pool and the other outdoor spaces are very well cared for, without excesses or extravagances, giving an authentic character to the property. This allows those who are being hosted to feel at home

Exceptional estate, in a quiet area, even better than in the photos. All amenities a few kms away, fruits, vegetables and some eggs from the estate available. Ideal for a holiday with family or friends. Ana Luis is available and friendly. We'll be back the next time we come to Portugal.

The stay was quite pleasant and the house has the essentials for a good vacation, making it ideal for families or group of friends The farm where it operates has several leisure spaces (for shared use), but also outdoor spaces for private use. Its location is also excellent, being at the gates of Gerês and quite close to the city of Braga. The host Adriano provided several useful information and was always available during the stay.

Excellent stay in a perfect setting. , quiet and clean tastefully arranged accommodation and garden Superb pool. The "staff" we saw in the cleanliness were very nice. On the other hand, I don't know who the owner is and left without seeing anyone. Too bad because there was no communication.
