Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Vila Real District

Everything was just perfect. Even better than in the pictures. Beautiful house, tastefully decorated and thought out. Fully functional, we found everything we needed. The reception was great, and the kindness and availability of both Marcia and Micaela are to be commended. It was a weekend in which we could celebrate a birthday, in a beautiful rural area and with plenty of privacy. Even though it was the end of September, the pool was everything !!! ✨ I'd repeat it without thinking twice.

Fantastic stay in Pedro's home from home, Pedro was very friendly and helpful, and the property was just what we wanted for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, and a great location for us to explore the wonderful north of Portugal. Stayed for about 10 days, and enjoyed every minute. Thank you very much to Pedro and his family.

I can't say enough good things about our stay at the Honey House. Put a fado record on the turntable & drink your coffee or wine on the back patio while taking in the gorgeous views of the Douro Valley... bliss. The house is perfect combination of modern amenities & vintage touches. Buy homemade bread & pastries from the man that sells them from his van right outside your door most mornings. Spread some of the honey or jam Eduarda left for you on the fresh bread from the bread man. Enjoy some time down at the natural pool a short walk away. The little village is adorable. You really don't have to leave, but Amarante is only 20 minutes away & of course, plenty of wineries in the region. Eduarda is also great with communication. Friendly, helpful & quick to respond. One of my favorite Airbnb experiences, it was hard to leave.

Perfect jumping off point for Douro Valley. The house served our family of 5 well. We had a great experience with the property manager, Beatriz. She was very communicative and even helped us ship home a few items we left behind. Overall a great stay.

Phillipa and Paul were absolutely lovely to work with and their property is unbelievable! We felt like we owned a Quinta for a few nights! we got to explore the property, visit with Paul and one of their sons, and savor the beauty of the Douro. They were proactive with communication and sourced a number of wonderful adventures, activities and meals. Without their guidance our trip would have been less fun!

An excellent space for a weekend getaway! Joaquim's space is very comfortable and beautiful, it feels like we are transported to an isolated remote space, a small haven. Joaquim was also super helpful, cordial and suggested a trail to a lookout point that was very pleasant and refreshing. Thank you for the experience that we will certainly repeat!

A beautifully restored home with large garden - we felt very welcomed by Susana on arrival. Overall we experienced bad weather during our stay but really enjoyed relaxing by the pool on our one day of sunshine - this is a better house to stay in during the summer months to maximise usage of pool area and lovely gardens. The house is well equipped and conveniently located in the town. We enjoyed our night at the wine bar in the basement - very interesting and high quality local wines available.

If you are looking for a place to explore Amarante and the surrounding areas do not hesitate to book here. The house was sparkling clean and had everything we needed during our stay. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the pool at the end of the day!

A magical place surrounded by nature. I would highly recommend it. The host is great.
