Vacation rentals with a pool in Vila do Bispo

Our time there was absolutely delightful. The house is beautiful and perfectly situated, offering stunning views and sunsets that we’ll never forget. Wir waren über Neujahr insgesamt 11 Tage in der Unterkunft und haben es sehr genossen. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter und konnten tagsüber draußen auf den vielen Kissen chillen und Sonne tanken ☀️ Außerdem haben wir sehr den großen Küchenbereich genossen, der schön lichtdurchflutet und gut ausgestattet ist. Auch haben wir gerne zusammen gekocht und Barbecue zubereitet. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und man hat einen tollen Blick in die Ferne. Für unsre fast tägliche Jagd nach Wellen war es ein super Ausgangspunkt für die Süd- und Westküste der Algarve. Auch ein Bonus war, dass wir für 7 Tage das Nebenapartment dazubuchen konnten, da wir nicht den ganzen Aufenthalt über beide Häuser gebraucht haben. Bilder entsprechen der Unterkunft. We had a fantastic family holiday, there was lots of space for us to move about, the pool and jacuzzi were a special treat for us all, and well worth the money, as it was a bit chilly in April. It was away from the hustle and bustle, so definitely need a car, but you didn’t need to drive far to find beach walks, wildlife, cafes, restaurants etc. Would highly recommend this property, also the agents that looked after it, as we had a small issue with the iron not working, and before we knew it a replacement was dropped off for us . Overall very happy 🙂

A great house in a wonderful little town. A short walk to the beach and all the lovely cafes and restaurants of Burgau. Burgau is a real gem along an otherwise quite touristy stretch of coast. The house is also a few minutes from the costal walking / cycling trail. Pedro was really responsive and flexible about our check-in and check-out times, which helped us hugely. We also loved that the house came with everything you'd need for the beach with kids (body boards, kids' toys, sun shade etc). The house was really spacious (we were 2 adults and 2 children), clean and practical. Thank you! We had a wonderful time!

We have had a lovely week staying at this beautiful villa, with our 3 grown up children and their partners. We loved the pool, hot tub and lovely garden. The villa was spacious and had everything we needed. All communications with Margot were helpful and she always replied very quickly. We had a small issue on holiday which was dealt with immediately we contacted her, Would definitely love to return to this villa.

Het huis van David is heel mooi! Veel huizen in Portugal hebben verouderde meubels maar het huis van David is stijlvol en sfeervol ingericht. Er is mooie verlichting! Wij waren met een 1-jarige dus voor ons was de trap niet handig en het zwembad maar als je geen baby hebt die net alles wil ontdekken en wil klimmen is het echt fantastisch:) De keuken is volledig ingericht, de badkamers zijn mooi en schoon. Eigenlijk was alles geweldig! Het dorpje is niet veel (geen bar, restaurant of winkeltje) te beleven maar voor ons was het prima. Erg vriendelijke mensen en stukjes wandelen vanuit het huis. Stranden en supermarkt zijn met de auto snel te bereiken. Communicatie ging heel soepel en Andrea en Mato (zij ontvingen ons) zijn geweldige warme mensen.

We really enjoyed our stay at Barbara’s. The fiat was modern and clean and the shower excellent. It was great having the pool and the outside space downstairs. The cut through to the back of Intermarché was really useful too. A great location to explore lots of the surrounding beaches.

We had a lovely stay in August 2024. The villa is stylishly decorated and incredibly roomy, even bigger than we expected, with wonderful views over a hill to the sea from the living area and top bedrooms/hot tub. Although it is in an area of other villas, it felt private and very quiet and peaceful. Beds were very comfy and bedrooms had aircon which was unobtrusive but effective. We opted to heat the pool, which wasn't strictly necessary but we were glad we did as it made it very comfortable. The area is beautiful and much less busy than the Algarve further east. There is a very nice beach and restaurant 'As Cabanas' within walking distance (about 10/15 minutes) for lunch or drinks. Straight across the road is a short track to the coastal path where you can walk to Salema and Burgau (Burgau under and hour), both small and pretty with beaches and nice places to eat. We would definitely return as we would like to explore this area more.
