Nice clean place with lots to do in the area.

The windmill is such a special place - a unique configuration inside to make a tiny home in a carefully and beautifully recreated space. I loved the lovely outdoor area with ocean views, flat grass lawn for lounging or yoga, and the access to great trails up the mountain or down to the beach. Truly a little gem.

Pleasant villa in a very quiet area. Friendly and helpful host. A pity not having had good time… I hope to return at a next opportunity.

Wow! We have been to hundreds of airbnbs and this one is up in our favourites. If you're up in northern Portugal I highly recommend booking a few days here to unwind. The property is stunning and so peaceful. We will definitely be staying again if ever back in Portugal.

Rui, your host, was brilliant and as effervescent as a freshly poured flute of fine French champagne - so much so that one almost needs to lie down and rest after having a chat. He loves his tree house and is extremely proud of his construction. One of the nights of our stay they had the fiercest storm in nearly 20 years - 100 kph winds, slashing rain and intense lighting and thunder yet in the morning both we and the tree house was still in the tree - can't say much about sleep but what an experience. It is, indeed, a magical experience. If you are coming by rental car, and a stickler for detail, be aware that you must drive over gravel roads for a few kms, which for most rental cars is not covered in the contract but if you drive in a mature and rationale matter who will ever know. Like how many people can say that they actually resided in a tree house. Just do it.

A little piece of heaven by the sea—thank you, Luis! Staying at Luis’s apartment in Fão was an unforgettable experience. The moment we arrived, we were greeted by the sound of the ocean and a breathtaking view. The apartment was cozy, spotless, and well-designed for comfort. Luis made us feel like we were welcomed by a friend. He waited for us, helped with our bags, and assisted with personal matters. Throughout our stay, he offered local tips and responded quickly to our messages. One touching moment was when we asked for a late checkout to cook lunch. Luis encouraged us to take our time and enjoy our last meal. This simple gesture made us feel so cared for. Luis isn’t just a Superhost—he’s a genuinely kind person with a passion for the sea and creating beautiful moments. This place, with its stunning views and peaceful surroundings, felt like a hidden gem. We left with full hearts and deep gratitude. We can’t wait to come back.

It’s very nice flat

The stay was wonderful! The contact with nature is incredible, perfect for those who want to disconnect and relax. The space is super well equipped — it has everything from cutlery to a saucepan, great for those who want to cook during the trip. The Jacuzzi is also great and was one of the highlights of the experience. Mr. Manuel is extremely helpful and attentive, he made us feel very welcome. The place is very nice and we are already sure that we will return!

We had an incredibly lovely stay in the lovely house! The view is so beautiful, there is no need to go anywhere else. The cottage is cozy and has everything you need. Here we could have stayed a lot and much longer!
