There are good opportunities for outdoor life in summer and winter; swimming, boating, hiking trails, top tours and skiing/downhill skiing at Gautefall ski resort. The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquility of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside there is a bedroom and an open living room. Outside there is a kitchen counter, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach with swimming opportunities and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.

— OM HYTTEN — Vi lot oss inspirere av The Thief i Oslo. Det tok to år å bygge. Resultatet er Tyven — 80 kvm boutique-hytte med storvindu mot Mjøsa — Norges største innsjø — fra kjøkkenet. Omtalt i National Geographic Traveller. Privat jacuzzi, to fulle bad og ro og privatliv i Mjøslis natur. Kjøkken, bad og ett soverom i første etasje — stue og to soverom i underetasjen. Gjennomtenkt ned til siste detalj, 30 minutter fra Gardermoen.

The Lerbukta Cottage is located in undisturbed, idyllic and peaceful surroundings. The Halden watercourse is floating past, and the distance to the lake Ara is just about 30 metres. The cabin is well equipped and has a large sitting room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a tiled bathroom with shower, toilet and a washing machine. There is underfloor heating in the bathroom. The sauna is in the side building. The cabin has WiFi.
