Amazing stay. This place is really cozy, with a stunning view from the bedroom.

We made a weekend between friends, the space was perfect to rest and enjoy the outdoor space of the garden with swimming pool and jacuzzi. The house is very spacious, very good sun exposure, impeccable cleaning and very well-equipped. Mr. João was always very attentive and helpful, he responds to messages very quickly and still received us with a bottle of Rose. I definitely recommend it and, on an upcoming trip north, we'll be happy to stay here again. Thank you!!

Cecília's reception was really warm, it made us feel at home. The price is unbeatable for the space it provides. We took the opportunity to have a barbecue and watch Portugal win the Nations League. It was an unforgettable moment! i highly recommend :)

We have had an excellent time. The town of Gerês and São Bento da Porta Aberta provided a quiet visit to Gerês and São Bento da Porta Aberta. Great location with restaurants and mini-markets nearby so we can make/have lunch. The house allows us to go hiking or long runs in the middle of nature observing small streams and beautiful landscapes. It was a very good experience. The house was in great condition and has all the conditions to receive families. Thanks to Sara who guided us in our stay and who didn't let us miss anything.

Very good stay at Ana's. Responsive during the general power outage in Portugal, Spain, she dropped off candles, came back with her mom to bring us another light and a small Porto tasting. Very nice and functional house. In a quiet environment but close to cities like Braga where you can visit many beautiful things. The home was exactly as pictured, gorgeous views, & pool/home were clean with nice furnishings. There were the expected and unexpected amenities (throw blanket, clothing dry rack, BBQ tools, pool shower, towels for 6, hangers, coffee and sugar). The rooms were bright and sunny, with electrically switched storm shutters to 100% block out sun/street light. Besides the basics, the kitchen included dish rag, sponge, towels, an expresso maker, French press, electric water kettle, decent knives, and the all important wine opener. Europe is not big on paper towels, and we didn't find them here nor at the market (weird). As planned, we were in a slightly remote, quiet area, away from tourists. We enjoyed the town of Vieira do Minho for meals & shopping and some lovely hikes 45min drive away. Paulo was a great host - accommodated our late arrival, met us for a property tour, responded promptly, and was helpful during a short power outage. Loved our stay - hope to return!

Overall the stay went well. We stayed 4 days and yet there were some basic utensils missing for “long” stays, some detergents for both the bathroom and the kitchen … the space on the street is very beautiful but no longer corresponds to the images in the listing, it needs a lot of maintenance. Otherwise, the place is excellent for resting, we love it.

Very spacious apartment with very nice and spacious outdoor area overlooking the river. Convenient kitchen equipment and outdoor barbecue, covered. Quiet location and still well located in terms of traffic, with private parking. We would love to come back, regardless of the season.

Beautiful location and view from the balcony, great kitchen setup, has everything you need for cooking. The pool is lovely and stunning view of the river and mountains. Close drive to food, market and Gerês National park. Lastly, the hand embroidery on the pillows on the lounge pillows and bedsheets was a beautiful touch.

I've stayed in many places around the world, but Conceição has been the best host to date, very friendly and helpful. The house is very well taken care of, and we feel totally welcome.

Unfortunately it was only 2 nights, 5* house and location. Mr. Antonio was spectacular with us, facilitating the check-in/check-out, making us completely comfortable, D. Olivia and Mr. Secundino were impeccable with us, making us feel like we were part of the family, we loved them from the bottom of our hearts and we really want to come back soon, but this time with more time because Gerês is beautiful and there is much to explore... see you soon and thank you very much for all your kindness and availability 🥰

The environment and listing match the listing description. The place is peaceful for those looking for tranquility, mountain views and a lake, swimming pool on site, football and volleyball court and an air of play for children. To go to restaurants and center you need a car. You are about a 30 minute drive from Parc Nacional du Gères. I highly recommend this place. Hosts are very responsive and respond very quickly to expectations and requests. I'll definitely be back.

Nice apartment not too far from the city center. Living room a little noisy, but the rooms are very peaceful. Communication with Maria is short but effective.

Joao was a super great host, very helpful and very flexible on check in which he met us personally to give us a walk through of everything. Very responsive and the place was perfect with a little garden to have coffee in the morning. Great location and enough provisions for our short stay. Highly recommend!

A true haven of peace and regeneration! I had the privilege of enjoying an absolutely memorable stay in a simply wonderful place. The combination of the surrounding nature with the available amenities — swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna — provided unique moments of well-being and tranquility. It was an experience marked by peace, silence and comfort, perfect for disconnecting from the world and renewing energy. The moments together were even more special thanks to the welcoming and thoughtful atmosphere of this space. I leave with the feeling of having really rested, body and mind. A place I wholeheartedly recommend and where I undoubtedly hope to return.

The apartment is very cozy, clean and very spacious. A very communicative host, responds quickly to messages. We received very accurate directions to the apartment, which was very helpful. Location a short walk from the center, but for us it was not a problem - we wanted the apartment to be close to the university (about 10 minutes walk to the university). I would definitely recommend this place!

There were many things we loved about the apartment - the space and layout were perfect for our traveling party, and the location cannot be beat! Everything you could need or want is an easy walk away, yet the high-quality windows and 6th floor location kept the noise and bustle to a minimum. The shower was a good size and as long as no one was washing dishes, had consistently good hot water and great water pressure. We had plenty of storage for all of our things and room to spread out when needed. The biggest drawback was we found the furniture, including beds, to be a bit low for our liking but that's a very individual preference. Note if your party has mobility issues, there are about 7 steps to reach the elevator.
