House vacation rentals in Veysonnaz

It is a well designed, classic-styled ski chalet with spectacular views across Sion to snow topped mountains. It is a short drive down to Sion or up to Thyon. Beautiful walking is within easy reach, whether you want 3000m peaks or a stroll by a stream. Or just visit the many historic sites or vineyards. The chalet has a strong sense of having been a much loved family ski chalet and holiday home for many years. As a result it is unusually well equipped - Raclette machines, fondues, ham slicers, big bbq etc. There are great places to sit inside and out with a real sense of comfort and style. The pool is a welcome addition on very hot days, albeit it is not the most obvious destination for a holiday by the pool.

The cottage is spacious, convenient and very welcoming. If access is only on foot, which has not bothered us in any way, it is located quietly and very close to the bisse d 'Ayent and its magnificent walks. The FreeBus stop, which drops you off in front of the gondola in winter, is right at the end of the pathway and that's great! Living there for a weekend with the family, with big children (all adults), at 8, is a time that we prioritize in the year and everything has come together to make it go really well. The season didn't allow us to enjoy the large terrace, but in the warm season it's really a plus, with a magnificent view. Great value for money. Thanks to Salvatore for his availability and his nice gesture for the 9th guest on the ground floor.

Catrine’s house was a delight to stay in. The magnificent views onto the Lake and Mountains were breathtaking. Clean, spacious and has everything you need. Would definitely come back here if I visit Montreux again.

Very nice house. It felt like home. Fully equipped. Nice view and the hosts were very helpful. We spend a memorable weekend with family. We did not see much of the area because we hardly wanted to live the house. Wonderful place ! The switches for light, curtains and shades were a bit puzzling. We would appreciate some instructions in the place to make our lives easier.

Jeremy was responsive in communication, his accommodation was just as described on the app. It is well suited for children with a barrier at the top of the stairs between the kitchen and the entrance hall. The kitchen is relatively small, but well-equipped. We had a great time staying at this place.

We had a great time despite the bad weather in Valais during our week of vacation. Pierrick was very responsive and helpful.

The place is exactly as described and depicted. It has everything. We (10 adults plus few kids) had a perfect ski week! The funiculaire is a cheat! Provided that you can ski a red slope, otherwise (for the kid's lessons for instance we had to walk or take the bus to the main télécabine a few hundred meters further down). The jacuzzi was a beautiful addition after a tiring day in the snow. Only things to note, the salon could have been bigger but most importantly, the small road that led to the few neighbouring chalets (including this one) could have been salted to avoid the ice! Other than that, the village is very small and friendly, has nice slopes to play and one can access Verbier very easily for more... Overall, we do recommend it and we would definitely go back.

Annie’s place was perfect for our stay near Montreux! Bigger than I expected based on the photos, so it was nice to spread out with our group of 6. My kids loved the dart board and those views from the balconies can’t be beat. Annie was so sweet and easy to communicate with. Her little touches made for the best few days!

Very successful stay, spacious and very well-equipped cottage for 15 people, beautiful location with breathtaking views, access to cable cars within 15 minutes' walk. The on-site contact person is responsive and everything went well both on arrival and departure. We had a great time with 15 people including 5 children aged 5 to 10, also enjoying splendid weather and good skiing conditions. Yves

Great location for skiing. Nice chalet very well equipped. Very friendly host. You need to be in shape to get to the chalet (on foot).

We stayed one night on our way to italy. Perfect location to reach the st bernard the day after. Nicole is great, friendly and responsive. And the cats really sweet. Like staying at home!

I must say that the owners' responsiveness and listening was impeccable. We enjoyed it very much. The view is splendid.

Lovely little chalet with a beautiful private patio in the center of a quaint small Swiss village. Great amenities including a huge walk-in shower, dishwasher and very comfortable beds. Check-in and check-out went super smooth and communications with owner as well as interactions with local host were a real pleasure. Homely feel, lots of personal effects making you feel at home in a cosy mountain setting. Very quiet village, slightly remote, not for low mobility people, but ideal for those who like walking , nature and tradition. Very responsive host.

We had a great stay. The cottage was recently built with Swiss quality. The temperature is lovely. All 3 bedrooms are spacious and have great views of the mountains. Each of the bedrooms has its own bathroom with a very nice walk-in shower. Mase is a beautiful village that's always sunny. The Nax ski resort is just 15 minutes away and offers beautiful varied slopes. Other resorts are easily accessible, including Evolène, and Arolla and the huge area of the 4 valleys. The town of Sion is close which is convenient for shopping. Finally, Barbara and Claude are great hosts.

The owners were very helpful and you really don't feel them living next door. The house ir very nice and especially that you have your private outside area, nice view. Many table games in a house :). Just you have to know, that the house is near the road and it is a bit noisy in a morning time. Also, city center is 20-30 min. walk from the house. Overall, the place is worth money, you pay! We had a lovely stay at this family home. Vintage well-maintained furniture, impeccable view. My daughter even enjoyed playing the piano. Plenty of rooms, open space, large kitchen. Nicolas was quick to respond and very helpful with any requests. Recommend a car to get around as the location is up the hill. We went to the Montreux Chirstmas market (twice!) and loved our time in this quaint home with views of the lake and snow capped mountains.
