Wonderful house for rent in the heart of Lofoten. Of you're looking for a base from which you can explore all that Lofoten has to offer, look no further. From this recently refurbished and well equipped house you can reach Leknes in 25 minutes and Svolvær in 45 minutes by car, making it an excellent location for reaching all parts of Lofoten. The house has one double and two single beds, one sofabed in the livingroom and one baby cot. The garden is a work in progress, but there's a terrace with a large Jacuzzi for you to enjoy. Furthermore, nature is right outside the door, and plentiful.

The apartment is located in Ørsnes, a small village just outside Kabelvåg. There is little light pollution here, which makes the place particularly well suited for experiencing the northern lights on clear winter evenings. The house is located on a small hill, with views in all directions – towards the sea, the mountains and the open landscape around. Here, it's a short distance to most places – museums, galleries, cafes and shops. Good starting point for swimming, short/long mountain trips, climbing and bouldering, as well as cross-country skiing and alpine skiing in winter.

Two grocery stores within walking distance, one of which is open on Sundays, as well as a gas station. In Stamsund you will find cozy cafes, a yoga center and several art galleries. Stamsund is located in the middle of Lofoten. Leknes is 10-15 minutes away. An hour's drive north is Svolvær, and an hour and a half south is Reine/Moskenes. Short distance to the popular beaches Haukland, Uttakleiv and Unstad.

The place is recommended for two people, or adults with children if you were to be four people. Stamsund is a perfect starting point for experiencing all of Lofoten! With an hour by car to both Svolvær one way and Å the other. Right outside the apartment, there are opportunities for lovely mountain hikes or swimming. Stamsund also has both grocery stores, restaurant and cafe in walking distance.

The apartment is located on the 1st floor in a house with its own garden and gate right out into the forest/light trail. 5 min walk to mountain trail and swimming area in fresh water. You will have access to your own barbecue/dining area outside. The apartment is newly renovated and has its own space for car parking. In Stamsund you will find a shop, bakery and restaurant. The nearest town Leknes is 15 min away by car/bus.
