Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Vestre Slidre Municipality

Eli’s place was magical. It sat on a hill overlooking a beautiful lake with a magnificent mountain in the background. It felt like staying in a part of her family’s history. The original home was built in 1840 but her and her family completely renovated the cabin while still keeping the integrity of the space. It was extremely cozy, clean, and charming. Eli was a perfect host - she was warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home! She had great recommendations for a local farm, as well as nearby alpine ski places. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer but we definitely plan on coming back!! Thank you so much, Eli!

Spacious home with great living spaces. Nice master bathroom. The small bedroom was a bit cramped for 2 adults, but we were informed of this in advance. Lovely and well-equipped kitchen.

Had an amazing stay at this little cottage. Very hygge. The location is fabulous, easy walk to Skistar area. Ski bus picks up super close to the cottage. Space to hang ski gear which includes boot warmers. Nice touch. Lisa was great at communicating and checking in, even after we had been there a few days. A perfect place to stay for 2 people. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely everything was just great. Lillian responded quickly when we needed help. The cabin was so incredibly nice and decorated with everything you need. Much nicer than what the pictures show. Nature surrounds the cabin and no sounds other than nature's own….Magical!!

I stayed one night with my wife and 11-year-old son in Gry's house. Very nice and very large house... a little cold on arrival but the ground floor with living room and kitchen warmed up immediately with the wood stoves. The bedrooms upstairs were a little cool but with the blankets provided we had no trouble sleeping. Gry was always very kind and would have allowed us, if necessary, to stay even after checkout time... Unfortunately, we were unable to take advantage of the opportunity to take a boat ride on the river due to bad weather. Recommended!! Thanks Gry, from Giacomo, Alessia and Marco.

This place has its interesting family history, love the interior decor a lot, especially the kitchen. But the best part is the garden. We were lucky that it was sunny and we spend the whole morning having breakfast and just chilling. Great starting point for hikes/walks and a great stop on the way from/to Oslo. Kristin met us when we arrived and she was very nice. Much recommended 👍

Highly recommend this home. Cozy and spacious. Close to many good km of cross-country skiing. Everything works fine and nice family on site. We'll definitely be back

Perfect accommodation with short walking distance to the ski slope and with many sleeping places. Enjoyed a very good weekend in Hemsedal

The place was just great it was clean warm and you have your peace the tourist attractions are a bit further away but the nature outside is nice for skiing well suited are from there every day to Hemsedal to ski

The apartment was a great starting point for cross-country skiing tours. We felt very comfortable in the apartment. It is very comfortably furnished and has everything one needs. Arriving by bus is very good, you can walk to the apartment in 5 minutes.

Perfectly planned apartment with everything needed for a family during a week stay. Tasteful decor, fresh and well-equipped. Good parking outside the house, easy to take the ski bus to Hemsedal Skisenter (but short of buses back to Ulsåk before 4 pm). Nice premises in the main building, which we didn't use much. Nice bakery with pizzeria next door. Great cross-country skiing arena, Gravset, only a few kilometers away - many and varied trails in the forest and around the lakes next door.

The apartment is great and in excellent condition (new). We were 6 adults and had plenty of room. Convenient with heated garage under the apartment with room for 2 cars. The location is very good in relation to the slalom slope and it is a short walk to/from the hill. Overall very happy with apartment and hosting.

We were at Ole's house for 7 days over New Year's Eve and enjoyed the time and the house very much. The house is very large and well equipped. We felt very comfortable and at home from the beginning. Ole was always available and very friendly. The area is beautiful. We will definitely be back. The hosts and the house are highly recommended. Thank you

Very nice place with lots of air and room for the big family we were. The ski buses were a bit irregular; so we drove to the ski center. A car was parked at the nearby KIWI shop; as the driveway was very steep, but was nicely cleared of snow every day. So it was ok to drive up and down in the big car. Really nice host and easy to reach the few times we needed help. A person had forgotten linen; but there were posts on the bulletin board about where you could rent it - it would have been nice to know so we could have rented everyone. Otherwise, the description fits perfectly and we enjoy the stay very much.
