Norheimsund (6.5 km) is a gateway to the Hardangerfjord with its amazing landscapes. Here you will find shops, restaurants, hotels with gardens and beaches - and the famous attraction Steinsdalsfossen. Day trips can be made from the cabin to the amazing Folgefonna glacier, with both skiing and cross-country skiing opportunities. There are many hiking opportunities and swimming areas in the area, as well as opportunities for fishing.

Relax with either family, friends, couples, or just yourself to disconnect a little from everyday life, or make some nice memories together. One smaller cabin area with a total of 3 cabins right by Stordalsvannet. Possibility to fish, play in the beach, swim, jump on the trampoline, barbecue and much more..! Best for 4 people due to smaller living room and kitchen. Note: Camping toilet (porta potty), which must be emptied as needed. Good walking path from the parking lot and down to the cabin. Boat can be rented at additional cost.

If they should rain, you can still sit dry under the roof and at the same time be outdoors. It is a small simple cabin with great outdoor opportunities. The cabin is surrounded by water and a river that goes down to the sea. There is also the convenience store and a hotel as well as a small gas station. You can use boat down the river to shop, or walk 5min.

Unwind in this one-of-a-kind and quiet space! Rent your own guest house with access to spectacular views in the heart of Hardanger. This is a private spot with no neighbors (except us in the main house). Experience nature at its best, with access to mountains and fjords and all that means. On site, there is also the possibility to use two "fire houses" where late evenings are not a problem. If the wish is available, we are happy to give tips, guiding on tours and fishing rods or SUPS.

The old house at Solnes Gard

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents got the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from about 1950. We live in the other part of the residence ourselves. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 7 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in the care if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life.
