We needed to enjoy a quiet moment, to rest for a long weekend of three days. The listing at this address seemed ideal, the reviews all unanimous… well… it's even better than we could have hoped for. The loft is very comfortable, spacious, nicely decorated, rare cleanliness…the best thing is the little touches all around you. The exterior is also very neat, swimming pool, jacuzzi accessible at any time and private, there is everything you need to feel good. Well, we could go on for a long time with the superlatives… breakfasts… meals…massages… but the icing on the cake is the hosts Anne-Lise and Frédéric… whose kindness and discretion complete this perfect and timeless moment. It's the most beautiful house we've stayed in in recent years. The host leaves her family home as it is, for guests she does not know and offers access to a complete pharmacy, all the ingredients in the kitchen, still and sparkling water in bottles at will, linens including towels in abundance. All these little touches and trust contribute to feeling comfortable and respected from the outset, inspiring mutual respect. The house is huge, full of nooks and crannies that allow you to cohabit without stepping on each other. The garden is very well maintained, beautiful, with a prolific wisteria that shelters a flock of birds that frolic in the morning and evening. No vis-à-vis, very nice pool, absolute calm, a well-stocked proxi (meat +++) 200 m away, 2 restaurants/bar, hiking trails next to the house, and Laurence's very wise visiting advice. We had a great weekend with the family! The grounds are very well-appointed and beautifully wooded (petanque court, swimming pool, barbecue, etc.). We made the most of it! On the other hand, the accommodation is very well equipped for young children (high chair, crib, dishes, etc.). Perfect for our little girl! In the village (where you can walk), there is good organic bread! Perfect! Go ahead! We recommend it!

I loved my stay at this Airbnb! I came here as part of a business trip, and everything was perfect: clean, well-equipped, quiet, and very pleasant to stay in. We had a lovely family weekend. We particularly enjoyed the different indoor and outdoor spaces allowing you to sit quietly to play, talk, rest. The calm of the place promotes rest. From little ones 0 and 2 years old, to teenagers 14 and 17 years old, to forty-somethings and sixty-somethings, everyone loved this place. Thanks to Nathalie for hosting us

Refurbished accommodation, with great taste. We had a very pleasant 3 days with our 7 and 9 year old children. Céline is a very attentive host with whom it is very pleasant to interact. Thank you for everything!

Thanks to Jean-Christophe, we had a wonderful vacation. The view from the terrace along the west side is beautiful, you will not get tired of it. The valley, the mountains, the birds and the sun setting behind the mountains. The host is extremely helpful and concerned about giving you a pleasant leave, and certainly gives you the necessary privacy. We have received tips on what you can experience in the area or what you want to see. The cottage is well equipped with all the necessities to live in, pots and pans, cutlery and kitchen appliances, everything more than sufficient. Five minutes' drive away, you have a small supermarket and an excellent restaurant “Le Touristique”. In the neighborhood, there are markets on different days, one a bit bigger than the other. Including culinary local and international products. You can live like a god in France, but I would choose God for the Ardéche...

We stayed in Frederique's cottage for two nights. It was very clean with an abundance of little extras to make our stay homely. Frederique was very welcoming to us and our border collie dog. The surroundings were very peaceful in a glorious setting with fabulous views.

Our stay at Marielle's went very well. The accommodation is nice and quiet, surrounded by nature. Marielle and her family are very friendly. I recommend it.

We spent two nights in a magical atmosphere. The place is completely out of the way and the silence by the pool is just perfect. Accessibility is a bit tedious on the small paths, but the photos do not reflect the true atmosphere that the place gives off, which is really soothing. Thanks to Olivier who was responsive and for hosting us and for his small touches.

We stayed here for 5 days and have relaxed. It's so quiet. You only hear the birds and the insects and the water in the stream at the bottom of the valley. The view from the upper terrace with the pool was amazing. The house itself was just right, very smart and tastefully decorated with everything you needed.

We really liked Veronique’s house. Four of us stayed, there was more than enough space for us all. The house is very well equipped with pretty much everything we needed and more. The garden is full of places to sit, which is really nice. It is spacious and full of bird song. The house has huge character and is in lovely condition. The stairs between the floors are quite steep and narrow but we soon got used to them. Having multiple bath/shower rooms and toilets was very helpful. Access to the property is a little tricky but once we found it things were fine. If you are a not so steady on your feet be aware that access by foot is uneven, but it is no problem. It is also not flat. Parking down in the village car park was easy and safe. The area is very quiet and highly recommended, a lovely part of France. The markets in Lamastre are excellent as are many of the local options for meals, but be aware the best of them are lunchtime only without going a bit further afield.
