Cabin vacation rentals in Vernon Valley, Vernon Township

The place was perfect for our group of 7 adults. Four large bedrooms and three baths. The kitchen was well equipped and the living area was comfortably furnished. John was the perfect host. He kept in contact throughout our stay in case we needed anything. He provided us with recommendations on restaurants and things to do in the area. Lots of great hiking not far from the house. Everyone had a great time and are looking forward to a return trip.

This Airbnb is truly something special. If you're a fan of mid-century modern design, you’ll be in heaven—the aesthetic is gorgeous, and honestly, it feels a bit too nice to be a rental. It's incredibly generous of Jenny to open this space up to others. The backyard is breathtaking—peaceful, private, and serene. I could have spent the entire trip out there, flipping through books with the soothing sound of the creek in the background. The Japanese hot tub was the cherry on top. I loved it far more than a typical hot tub. It requires some effort and planning to get just right, which, for me, made the experience even more rewarding. That said, I can imagine it wouldn’t be for everyone. This place gets my highest recommendation—though I hesitate to say that because I selfishly want it to be available the next time I book. My partner and I enjoyed our little quick much needed getaway. Cabin was quaint and comfortable. Hot tub with a full moon overlooking the river was so peaceful. Lots of wildlife, even a pair of Eagles made an appearance. Nearby hiking during the day and delicious dinner in town at night. Erica was great in sending messages a few days prior with recommendations of where to dine and visit. Much needed escape was worth it!

Loved this place! Beautiful surroundings and babbling brook! The back is pretty private tho the front is not there is another cabin across the street. The cottage is really charming but pls note smaller than it appears in pictures it's about 750 sq ft in total. Overall it was clean and cozy! We were happy with our stay! And Caitlin was a great host. Thank you!

This is our second time staying at The Blue House of Catskills - we had another great time! Everything is very clean & cozy and the house/kitchen is well-stocked. We enjoyed using the soaking tub, hanging out on the deck/in the yard, and walking around the neighborhood and nearby lake. Lots of friendly deer walking around and we even saw a beaver! We had two people in each bedroom and two people in the living room on the two couches - it's the perfect space for 6 adults! There's local shopping, food, and the site/museum for The Woodstock Music and Art Fair is a quick drive away. Love this upstate escape and can't wait to return again!

Melissa’s place is amazing. Such a great space - house, sauna, and hot tub impeccably clean, super comfy bed and above and beyond details that made our stay feel like a four star hotel but with all the comforts and privacy of a Poconos air bnb. The master bedroom (which does include a soaking tub w jets!) alone was worth it. We look forward for our next opportunity to stay at Melissa’s!

Lovely stay for a girls weekend in the country. Easy and convenient to find and plenty of space.

We felt right at home. We loved the LOTR touches. I read one of the books in her library when I was there.

Great place to stay and forget about the rest of the world’s problems! Quiet and comfortable, had one question about smoking on the screen porch and Dylan responded immediately. Definitely will repeat next April for our annual hiking trip.

So happy to have found this stay. I needed to get out of the city and be in nature. Garth’s place was centrally located to numerous trails and it was a great place to just relax for a night.

Great location with a great host, Bridie’s home is a wonderful place to experience NY state. From the privacy and comfort, to the peacefulness of the area, this was a much needed relief from the city life. Bridie as a host was very accommodating, had great recommendations and info about the local area, and made our stay welcome to where I’d recommend to anyone considering!

This was a great getaway for a group of friends! Some specific callouts: - The open floorplan in the main room (kitchen / dining area / livingroom area) worked perfectly for people to simultaneously be on their laptops at the large dining table, or cooking a meal, or playing a game, while all still interacting - The pool table was an unexpected highlight! - Groceries and trails were a short drive away (~15 minutes) - The hot tub has a skylight right above it, and if you turn off all the lights in the room, you can see so many stars on a clear night

beautiful little place in the middle of a quiet neighborhood, just a few minutes from Greenwood Lake and Warwick. Julie was super responsive and very helpful! One thing to note - though the listing says up to seven people, it would definitely be a squeeze. me and my boyfriend stayed there with a friend and that was the perfect amount of people.

Maria and Max’s place was everything we dreamed of! It was a nice seclude, a cabin with a large backyard and a wonderful fire pit. We loved the decor inside the house, the beds were extremely comfortable, and everything was as described. It’s in a great location approximately 20 to 30 minute drive to multiple cute small towns in Catskills. We can’t wait to bring our friends back next time!

Kevin’s dacha was wonderfully homey, abundantly well-equipped, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The Eastern European decor and theme was inspiring and lovely for us. The wood stove, book collection, and game collection were major highlights for us that made the weekend. The instructions and local guide provided were perfect— we ended up using the suggestions provided heavily— and Kevin was super responsive and helpful when needed. Honestly, one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had! Thanks so much for such a wonderful stay!!

We had the most wonderful stay at Larry’s cabin in Smallwood! From the moment we booked, Larry was incredibly kind, helpful, and communicative. His advice on local activities and attractions was spot on and truly made our trip memorable. The cabin itself was cozy, warm, and inviting—exactly what we were hoping for. The fireplace was such a fantastic feature, adding so much charm to the space. It was incredibly easy to use, and Larry thoughtfully supplied plenty of firewood, kindling, and paper, making it hassle-free to enjoy cozy evenings by the fire. We also loved watching the local wildlife around the property! The deer often came up to the cabin, and it was such a treat to see them up close—it added to the peaceful, natural atmosphere of the area. Our dog, Lily, had the time of her life exploring the yard, which was perfect for her! On Larry’s recommendation, we visited the Smallwood dog park, and it was a highlight for Lily. This cabin is as lovely as the pictures promise. Me, my husband and our 40-pound travel pet, Bella-Moose, did more than enjoy our stay here — we were able to do some healing too. A few days before our visit while on I-70 in Ohio, we had a steer tire blowout on our 40 foot truck custom cab big truck. I was driving at the time, my husband was in bed and that event shook me like a rag doll. It shook us all. We put the truck in the shop for repair in Philadelphia and needed to find a place to rest and recuperate. Adam’s cabin was the ticket for many reasons. This entire space is incredibly inviting. The moment you walk in it feels restful. I really appreciated their thoughtful touches throughout this space. From the wood walls, wood floors, stone sinks/shower, to the soaps in the kitchen and bathrooms - no synthetic scents or cover-ups. Just a wonderful, well appointed, spacious cabin to relax and rest. My wife and I enjoyed Johanna’s cozy cabin very much. It was very warm and tidy and it was easy to get around to attractions nearby. We loved hanging out by the fire and watching DVDs and using the well-appointed kitchen. A great stay!

This cabin was very cozy and the surrounding area was very scenic and pretty, as well as quiet and peaceful. Kerri allowed my group of friends to shoot our short film outside the house, and it was a great location for filming as well as a great place for some of the crew members to stay overnight and hangout after shoot. We didn't have much free time but we were provided with lots of recommendations of places to checkout nearby and I'd love to maybe rent the place again sometime to explore the scenery. The neighbors were friendly and Kerri gave us very clear and useful information about the house to make our stay easy.

We had the best time at Amanda s cabin in the woods. So cozy, so comfortable. It was impeccably clean. I wish I could live there. Amanda responded right away, the fact that it is pet friendly is a plus!!! I want to come back as soon as possible. If you want a little getaway, THIS is your spot. My husband, myself and our furry baby had the best cozy time ( FYI: I m all about cozy!) Thank you for everything. For those who are like me, you have found the perfect place! Enjoy 😉

We had a fantastic stay! The place was really beautiful and large! Close proximity to some great sights, and it was very very clean! Rhona was very helpful and responsive and told us we could check in at any time, which made traveling much less stressful! The only thing was that the shower caused a leak above the dining table - it didn’t bother us, Rhona said that it sometimes happens if the shower deism so clogged. Also, good to be aware that you can hear everything through the walls - which was actually helpful for us because we could hear the baby that slept in the room right above us. Didn’t even need the monitor. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come again!
