Santiago is an incredible host. He helped us find local activities and communicate with local guides. The place is absolutely beautiful. The hike up there is no joke. But if you’re willing to put in the effort, it’s absolutely worth it.

The apartment has an excellent location, centered with respect to the park,a safe and quiet neighborhood. The maintenance and cleanliness of the apt is excellent, it has all the necessary amenities for an excellent vacation. Wonderful serene place! The house is new and beautiful. Completely private, in the middle of the jungle, no neighbors! The bed is huge and comfy. Kitchen is great, I cooked all the time. Internet is stable. The main attraction was a private stream right next to the house, you literally just have to go down the stairs. It has clear and comfortable (~22C) water and a lot of small gorgeous waterfalls and natural pools to lay down, relax and cool off. If you’re adventurous, you can “walk” up the stream and discover more spaces to dip in. If you want a bigger pool to swim in, you can walk down 12 minutes to the Honda waterfall. It’s a public swimming spot though. You can find “Cascadas de La Honda” on google maps to see approx location of the house. If you hike down in the direction of the village, there is a bigger river to swim in. Farid offers transportation to the house and deliveries of goods from the village. He was an incredibly kind and helpful host. Absolutely recommended!
