House vacation rentals in Venasque

The place is lovely, in front of the vineyard. Pascale was super helpful and we really enjoyed our week in Provence. Thank you for having us!

This was one of the best Airbnb stays we have ever had. The home and private grounds are wonderful reflections of the spirit and beauty of Provence. Where do we start? The beautiful decorations in the home, the well appointed bedrooms, kitchen, dining, and living room, and the large landscaped gardens with a well maintained pool, and the surrounding spaces with panoramic views of the valley. Stores and restaurants are a short walk away and Lacoste is a central location to explore nearby towns. Michel and Christine were gracious hosts who met us when we began and ended our stay and made us feel welcome to stay in their wonderful property. Thanks again for making our trip to Provence such a great experience.

I booked Maison Barbarenque thinking it would be a special place, but in person it even surpassed my high expectations. Our wonderful stay began with a welcome from our thoughtful host, Francois, who gave us a tour of the property so we could make the most of it, inside and out. The Maison is very clean and nicely appointed with pleasing decor. There is attention to small details that made our stay even more pleasant. Semi-open floors add to the spaciousness. Our family of five had more than enough room. There are, of course, stunning views morning, noon and night from the pool/patio and a second story bedroom. Our kids spent hours enjoying the pool. We cut a few of our sightseeing treks short so we could spend more time relaxing at the Maison. It's a beautiful, peaceful place that feels very private though you are not far from several villages. To sum up, Maison Barbarenque was everything we hoped it would be, and more. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to stay there.

I can only recommend this place, already the communication with Eric and Sylvie was pleasant and responsive. And the perfect accommodation, clean, everything is tastefully decorated, super well equipped! The (heated) swimming pool and outdoor terrace were our favorite places over these 3 days, we didn't use the lounges much😉. The city is not far at all, as are the bike and hiking activities. In summary, we had a lovely extended weekend away. Thank you again

Magical!! Andy and Jess have an absolutely beautiful place that embodies what Airbnb is all about! The decor is well thought out and gorgeous with beautiful French antiques and comfy furniture. The yard was massive with a perfect swimming pool, big grassy area, and places to sit in the shade. We made dinner one evening and sat and chatted with our host which was probably one of our favorite nights. Andy was so warm and welcoming and gave us lots of tips for cute towns and markets. The animals were the happiest pets I’ve ever met and it was fun to hang out with the 2 sweet dogs and friendly cat. Can’t say enough good things about this property. You can feel the soul of it as soon as you enter and I only wish we’d had more time here on our trip through France. Thank you Andy and Jess for your hospitality!

We loved it! Wonderful house in the middle of the little town of Lagnes. The house, the garden, the rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and terrace were amazing to live in, very clean and perfectly furnished. High-quality beds, linens and towels and all the kitchen appliances one needs. The town is a quiet, authentic French village, perfectly located to explore Vaucluse and to go cycling/running/hiking. And nothing can beat the sunsets on the terrace.

This is a luxury property. It is beautifully landscaped and the pool was large and inviting. In fact we mixed our plans one day to chill outside. The kitchen has what is needed to prepare meals. The bedrooms are well appointed and the bathrooms are more accommodating than a hotel room. The surrounding town is lovely. Quieter than others in Provence. We would definitely return and recommend. Andre was the consummate host.

Highly recommended! The Gîte is perfectly located in a peaceful spot just outside Gordes. The apartment is charming with plenty of room and access to outdoor pool. Catherine and her family were extremely helpful and friendly. We loved the tranquility of the area and hope to return soon.

Beautiful and modern house with great amenities. Fantastic view of Mont Ventoux! Clean swimming pool and clean hot tub. We rode a lot: good accessibility to Mont Ventoux and the Nesque gorge. Our host Matthieu was always approachable and responded very quickly to questions.

What a wonderful place to stay in such a beautiful village. It definitely exceeded all our expectations. Virginie was just lovely to deal with and very kind . The accommodation was beautifully fitted out and clean and extremely comfortable. i would like to think we may return one day . i definitely recommend staying here

The place was beautiful and Bonnieux has everything you need for a great base whilst exploring the Luberon. We loved the setting out in the peace of vineyard and cherry orchard whilst being an easy walk into the village. Edwina was very kind and helpful and left a wonderful welcome for us at the house. Would 100% recommend.

The accommodation is very tastefully decorated. The large terrace above the river Sorgue with plenty of sun until the evening is great. The picturesque town with many restaurants and shops is a 10-minute walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Nicolas responded very quickly to our questions. The place is highly recommended!

Melanie and Alex are incredible hosts! From check-in to check-out, they were tremendously graceful, personable, and helpful (all things within the Airbnb and unrelated to the property)! Strongly encourage any travelers / digital nomads to book this home away from home! Great host, property, four legged friends (Donkey - Irish, Flora and Colombe) and experience in Provence!

This is a beautiful, peaceful spot for those wanting to relax in gorgeous surroundings. The outdoor seating, dining, and pool spaces really make this property special, and it's perfect for a group of adults or large family. Charming L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is only a few minutes' drive away, where there are plenty of restaurants, antique stores, and helpful amenities like the supermarkets. It's also easy to reach Avignon, Carpentras, and other towns for those wishing to explore Provence.

An enchanting, luxury getaway in the South of France. This is everything you’re looking for in Provence and then some. Gorgeous views, posh pool, lots of privacy on a beautifully renovated French country estate. You won’t be disappointed!

Wonderful stay at Frederic's in Saumane. The house is very clean, perfectly maintained, functional and tastefully decorated. The location is ideal near the golf course and the Isles sur la Sorgue, perfect for discovering the north of Luberon. Thanks to Frédéric who was very responsive when we needed it. Only small downside for a stay with children, the pool (superb otherwise) is not fenced and is secured by an alarm that sounds at the slightest gust of wind. Without hesitation it's a 5/5 for this house :)

**A Perfect Family Getaway!** Our stay at this villa was a dream for our family with three kids under three! The heated, alarmed pool gave us peace of mind, while the spacious, modern layout was perfect for the little ones. 🌟 The villa was spotless, featuring automated lights, Sonos sound systems, and central air conditioning that kept us cool all the time. 🧊❄️ Sonia and Joel, our amazing hosts, were always available with a smile, making us feel like family. 👩‍❤️‍👨 We loved using the flat-top BBQ overlooking the vineyards for easy, delicious meals. 🍖🔥 Their guidebook was packed with fantastic recommendations, from fun donkey rides to a day-by-day French market itinerary, allowing us to fully enjoy local culture. 🐴🥖 The sunsets by the pool were stunning and unforgettable. 🌅 We extended our stay by five days because we simply couldn't get enough! If you're looking for a perfect blend of relaxation and family fun, this villa is it! ❤️

Very quiet place. Matches the description. Nice pool. Well-equipped. Several things to do and visit within 45 minutes by car. Friendly and available hotel, which responds well to our requests.

We had an exceptional stay in Venasque! The house is simply beautiful, with a particularly neat and warm interior. You immediately feel at home there. Everything is thought out for the comfort of guests, with full amenities. You feel that the house is lived in and full of life, which is really nice. The beds are very comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the magical view from the pool! The village is within walking distance, which is very convenient, and it is absolutely charming. If you are looking for a peaceful vacation in an idyllic setting, near a charming village, I can only recommend this house!

We had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. We enjoyed the pool area, along with the family room for hanging out in the evenings all together. It was easy to get to surrounding villages - we drove to Gordes, Bonnieux, Loumarin, and Isle sur la Sorgue, as well as Roussillon. Highly recommend this home, which is well maintained and very welcoming…perfect spot for a family vacation. Victoria was very responsive to a few questions we had - she was super helpful and friendly. Such a beautiful place!

Great little house with beautiful garden in a charming village.

Absolutely gorgeous place that worked brilliantly for our group of 4 couples. The garden is a delight and the pool was great for the hot weather we had. The house is charmingly presented with to make it feel like a home and it was cool inside when it was hot outside. We ate at the big table on the patio each evening. It was completely private. We could easily walk into Pernes Les Fontaines which is a very attractive village with little artisan shops and great patisseries! Joel was a great host - he greeted us and made us feel very welcome and was easily reached when we had a small issue. We had a fabulous week here.

Second stay at Pierre & Sarah and the house is just as fabulous as it was the first time. Attentive yet discrete hosts, gorgeous surroundings. We will be back!

Our stay at Ludovic’s home was absolutely wonderful. The house was beautifully appointed and had everything we could possibly need—and more. It was peaceful, thoughtfully designed, and full of heart. We especially loved the rich history of the home and how it had been in Ludovic’s family for generations; it added such a meaningful and authentic touch to our experience. Ludovic was incredibly gracious with his time, offering quick and helpful responses throughout our stay. I’ve truly never stayed anywhere that felt so much like home. Leaving was harder than I expected… I think a little piece of my heart stayed behind. Thank you again for your warm hospitality. We hope to return someday.
