Although the apartment was a little basic, it was as described, so perfect for me. The location was excellent, right in the town and near all the amenities. I’m sure I would have had an excellent nights sleep in the comfortable bed, if it hadn’t been for the local dogs barking all night! Although I did not meet Maurizio in person, he communicated well, and was very helpful. A great host.

Maurizio and Japanese Rika are very kind owners.Even if we don't speak English, Rika gave us a lot of information in advance, so we had a comfortable stay without worry.They responded immediately to anything, so I felt safe during my stay. The accommodation was easy to access by train from Rome, and I was able to experience the "life of the real Roman suburbs" that you can never taste in Japan.It is the # 1 place to stay in your life. I only stayed for two nights this time, but I would like to stay longer next time and fully enjoy the charm of this accommodation. It seems that we were the first Japanese guests, and Japanese people who work hard in a stressful society are the place to visit!! (laughs)

I spent three wonderful days at Saverio's place. It is a historic house just outside the walls of Oriolo, and consists of a living area overlooking the street and Oriolo inside the walls, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a second bedroom upstairs accessible by a very comfortable and solid spiral staircase. Under the house there are two bars, one of which is very popular, where the pastries and coffee are excellent. The main facade is on the street, Via Claudia, which is quite busy, so in summer with the windows open I think it's a bit annoying. Otherwise, the house is absolutely perfect.
