Loved the place, large beautiful green outdoor space. It was quiet and spacious space. Outdoor furniture. Secure premises. Philippe and his wife were very friendly and accommodating. The bakery a few doors down beside the meat market is to die for! The train station is a 7 minute walk away. Pleasant walk across the river to old Ambois town centre.

Highly recommended. Sophie is incredibly responsive and helpful. Her place is fantastic and is one of, if not the best equipped Airbnb’s I have ever stayed in (and I’ve stayed in a lot all over the US and Europe). Super comfortable all around and a spectacular central location. Ample free parking under a minute walk from her door. Multiple great restaurants within a five minute walk.

What a wonderful apartment in a historic home, right in the center of town. It was an easy stroll to many restaurants, and we had lots of good suggestions for eateries from Delphine. It was a short drive to many castles, and a short walk to the castle in town. The apartment was clean and she had everything necessary for a wonderful visit.

This is a unique space with incredible attention to detail. The location is ideal to discover Tours and the beautiful Loire Valley area. We hope to be back sometime next year!

Smack in the middle of the old town. Just what we wanted. There must be twenty cafes or restaurants within 100m. The appartment is small but very well organised, clean and comfortable with nice decor and thoughtful touches. Double glazed; we had no problem with noise, but they provide ear plugs if case someone ‘s having a big night in the square below! We would definitely stay here again.

A lovely home in a perfectly beautiful setting. It was peaceful and well appointed with what my husband, friends and I were hoping for in the Loire Valley. The beds were very comfortable and the outside terrace a wonderful place for drinks after a day of touring the castles. We would definitely recommend this home to friends and family.

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

Karine is a very attentive host. I had never woken up in a rental with hot croissants waiting for us. We had the flexibility to leave, as there were no other guests after us. We felt very good on this well furnished terrace. It was a perfect place for our romantic weekend and we warmly thank Karine.

Very nice location, peacefull heave within the Vouvray wineyards. 15 min from Tours.

If you love wine, just imagine sitting on a patio in the middle of a vineyard with a glass of wine actually grown in that vineyard and produced in a winery literally 200 metres away….simply magical….add to that a lovely old building conversion and great hot tub. Highly recommended as are Nicolas’s wines….cheers

My family and I, we have a 2 year old had a lovely time! The house is as it looks in photos, the location was great, a lot to do around if you have a car, which I recommend you have, not sure how else you’d get around. The pool was a great part of our stay and it was so nice to have a backyard. We are traveling Europe and this was such a nice balance of rest and exploration.

Sarah welcomed us very kindly and explained the operation of the chalet and the possibilities of walks around. We found her very friendly.

You can't find a better service that matches the description on the site perfectly. The humility of our hosts in relation to their "novitiate" in AirB&B and their desire to receive any criticism or suggestion for improvement are very commendable. But as stated in many reviews published before mine, Jean-Noël and Cathy are already the best. Also, any improvements will be minor details compared to the overall situation. Thanks again to them for the pleasant stay we had at their home.

Laetitia is very nice, caring and accommodating. The apartment was impeccable: clean, welcoming and functional. The kitchen was very well equipped, with everything you need to prepare your delicious meal! The small downside is that the collective heating was not on and we did not get very hot (we appreciated having blankets available). We had a lovely weekend! And all of my friends and I highly recommend taking this place.

Very well equipped and very clean accommodation. True to the description on the internet. Self check-in appreciated. Only negative point: the bedroom window with a very small curtain facing the hallway.
