BehrenSCHLAF vacation home Stay in the thatched farmhouse and discover nature and the countryside well rested. Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. The Schwalbenhof, small apartment in paradise :-)

A large three-sided farm, one hectare of natural garden, a small lake, a footbridge.... ... flocks of swallows and a concert of frogs, a sea of flowers and a wildflower meadow, beautiful views of the hilly landscape, hidden spots by the pond and a cosy kitchen with a wood-burning stove. Welcome to Mecklenburg on the Baltic Sea in an orchard in a village on a lake. The cat is called Traveller and takes care of our construction trailer when we have guests. The two construction trailers can accommodate 1 to 4 (or 5) people. There is a large sun terrace overlooking forest and meadows, a fire pit, 3 bikes and lots to discover. Nearby: swimming lakes (4 km), Baltic Sea beach (29 km), Schwerin, Wismar, Lübeck, nature, horses & beautiful Mecklenburg countryside.

The apartment is part of a thatched farmhouse from 1850. In 2012, we carefully awakened the Uhlehuus from its slumber and restored it sustainably. The apartment is located in the main house, where we also live, but is completely separated and forms a self-sufficient unit with its own entrance, and its own large terrace with garden. The spacious property is fenced. Your children and your four-legged friends can romp undisturbed and make friends with sheep and goats.

Relax with the whole family at this beautiful place. Our vacation home is quietly located in a village of 15 inhabitants in a small forest. It is wonderfully quiet and invites you to relax. Especially for families with children, our farm is a nice place to relax and unwind. In the large garden with sheep, chickens and a cat, there are plenty of opportunities to play and explore. The Baltic Sea is a 35-minute drive away., Schwerin 20 minutes, Wismar 20 minutes.
