Where do we start! Thierry’s communication from booking was excellent. When we arrived Thierry met us with enthusiasm and showed us around our part of his castle! The castle, built in the 1500’s, has been lovingly restored and has all the mod cons needed! He is a very proud owner and has so much knowledge! His english put our French to shame as he has mastered it well! Thierry spent time with us when we arrived explaining the village and things to do in the area and would message with suggestions he thought we may be interested in (market at Carmaux etc) which was very helpful! When it was 34deg outside the castle was a much needed cool retreat! I can’t fault the accommodation, the area or the owner at all! Don’t hesitate to book Thierry’s part of history -you won’t regret it. Thierry, thank you for your hospitality and if we are ever in the area we will not hesitate to book with you again!

We thought the place to stay was excellent!!!!! Very comfortable, fully equipped even in the smallest details. Everything you could need (and much more) is at your fingertips. Spacious, comfortable room and living room, and with an excellent place in the garden, to sunbathe, snack or just appreciate the charming landscape. The surroundings are just as you imagine the French countryside. Rolling fields, crops, trees of all kinds, birds and a silence that is enjoyed. It was a pleasure to rest there. Christine, an exceptional host!!!! A kiss for her!!!! Close to beautiful places like Conques, Belcastel, Najac. Must-see villages in Aveyron.

An oasis of peace, set in a stunning corner of the Causses du Quercy in a charming hamlet with a lot of history. The accommodation has been lovingly restored to a very high standard by Simone & David who make sure their guests are very comfortable. Nice little touches on arrival, such as a welcome card and a bottle of wine, together with a few basic items are very thoughtful and always keep the guests in mind. The house is spotlessly clean and well equipped, the bed super comfortable with nice white crisp bed linen. Simone is a wonderful host, always available to help and answer any questions but also very respectful of your privacy. The pretty village of Labastide-Murat is within easy reach by car and has all you need including a brand new well stocked supermarket. We spent a wonderful few days at L’Annexe, exploring this beautiful area and relaxing on one of the two terraces in the evening while gazing at the amazing starry skies. One of the best Airbnb’s we’ve holidayed in!

We had a wonderful stay at Le Prelat Selgues during the Easter holidays. The house was clean, cozy and nicely equipped with everything we needed. The location is absolutely stunning with views of the valley and Verfeil, which some mornings were shrouded in clouds, and a night sky filled with stars. We enjoyed eating in the garden and just being in the peaceful surroundings with animals, dog and cat. The pool, which is located with a breathtaking view, was ready to use and made the experience even better. David was really a great guy – friendly, welcoming and genuinely interested in us getting the best out of our stay. His tips for excursions and dining hit the spot and made our vacation even better. A wonderful place we would love to come back to. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

We loved our stay at Augustin's, who was really very welcoming (despite our - unintentional - non-compliance with the check-in and check-out times) Augustin was very kind to us. We also particularly enjoyed the atmosphere of the house, tastefully decorated, and the peaceful and beautiful environment! We chose this cottage for our intimate elopement/wedding and we don't regret this choice! We'll be happy to come back very soon.

Absolutely loved our stay at Maison Fauvel. The unit had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and for cooking our own meals. At first it seems far from everything and then you realize you are only 20-30 minutes away from many beautiful towns. We so appreciated the beautiful garden- such a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the view. Karin and Urs were very accommodating with an early check in and late departure which we so appreciated - would definitely recommend this place
